Would that really be a problem to create a body type similar to 3rd(height and width) but less muscular?

items would look nearly the same, just a bit difference in hands and pants(can just copy-paste looks from 2nd bt).

Not so much work, additional money through unlocks and changes.

What'd be the point? To just have a taller version of BT2? That's pretty much what you're asking for. The point of BT3 is to be the big, muscular body type, if you want to roll BT2, then just go do it, why does the height matter?

Adding a new body type isn't at all like adding a new hair style, or new eye colours. This is at most a single new model or texture.

 

Every set is composed of multiple models (at least one for each part of the set) and there is going to be 1 per body and gender combination. Other than the various re-skin sets (ex Inspiration Vest and Sith Combatant will have the same model, just different textures), this means each set will have 8 model sets for each set and for each unique component of that set.

 

Currently there are a little over 500 sets in collections for armour. At 8 each that's over 4000 model sets. Even generous estimates as to how many of the models are shared still puts this in the 10k+ range, for the CM alone.

 

So sorry to say, their is a near 0% chance this could happen.

A new hairstyle is four or eight new models. Four if it's sex-locked, and eght if it's unisex, because the heads of the different body types aren't all the same proportions.

For sure, even at 4/8, it's less work than thousands, agreed.

more body types would be great and could potentially lead to other races that would be impossible currently
