In PvP, Maras win by a long shot because of better defensives. Especially if you ever want to do solo ranked, roll a Mara dps or a Jugg tank, not a Jugg dps.

 

In PvE Marauders bring a raidbuff, and generally slightly better damage as well. Small caveat is that Vengeance can seriously shine when you can spread your dots. As Vengeance gets a loooot of damage with Cut to Pieces in this scenario. Juggs do have the advantage of having a single target taunt though, which can come in helpful occasionally. Maras are probably slightly better overall, but in PvE the difference is smaller. If you just think Juggs are way cooler than Maras (and you'd be correct in thinking that), then just go Jugg dps.

tank jugg or fury marauder are the only two viable options for endgame pvp, you can play any of the other four specs as well and you will do fine, but tank jugg or fury mara are simply way better than the alternatives, jugg tank uses, as all other pvp tanks, the "skank tank" strategy where you simply gear for increased dps, google it and you will find more instructions if that's interesting

 

for pve basically, everything is fine, it will much more depending on what you enjoy playing and find fun to run as all options are viable

If your reading this to help decide between marauder and juggs for unranked, just choose juggs. They hit harder and take less dmg, whilst also being simpler and smoother to play.

....What? Assuming you're talking about DPS jugg, as the original post appears to imply, then I would have to strongly disagree. Marauders will pretty much run you over if they even half know what they're doing, and their durability is only below a DPS jugg's if you are for some reason not using any defensives at all. Pure tank juggs are also fodder in PvP. Only skank tanks are to be feared.
