My question is simple: is there diminishing returns on endurance and defense and if so, what are the marks? Also, which of the two is most important? I recognize that Shield and absorb are superior, but I want to fine tune my tank. My current stats are roughly: Defense 6800 Absorb 3100 shield 3100 Endurance 14,6k Thanks in advance! Is there a rule of thumb of acceptable tank stats for the harder raid content in the game? There's no real aggreement on ideal tank stats, a lot depend on the class, skill level, ect. In general I suggest going for 3000 plus stat points in shield, and 2000 or so in absorb. I have all 3 tanks, and I have heard that all 3 are roughly fine to use for all content-- I know that in the past, some tanks were more ideal than others (NiM Brontes Sin tank, PT Tank on pre nerf HM Revan, etc) and I was wondering if it really mattered one way or the other in current meta. Before I left the game in 4.x I tanked all content so assume a baseline level of competence.
