Not sure if this is the proper place for this thread, but i saw no other. I have been running story mode Star Fortress for a while. I have completed everything that the various guides say. I have asked other players, checked guides and forums, but have found no answer as to why i cant run heroic/verteran Star Fortress.the only think that MIGHT be a possibility is Bowdaar isnt lvl 10, and im not sure that even matters. I could use any help in finding the answer to this dilema

There are planetary quests that you need to complete to unlock each of the six Star Fortress', have you done them?

 

They pop as alliance alerts when you've done the initial quest from Miot. Each one is called >Planet Name<: The Resistance. Each time you complete one of them, the corresponding star fortress becomes available in heroic mode.

So you talk to the officer to the side of the door, and he doesn't propose Veteran? (The mission says Heroic, the officer says Veteran. Consistency is hard.)

 

If necessary, try the officer on the other side of the doorway. Sergeant Thisguy versus Lieutenant Thatguy.

As far as I know the Story starts in your Odessen base, there is a guy to talk to, under his nameplate it says Star Fortress Arc or something like that, only after speaking to him you get those missions.

Yes, and when you go to actually do the missions, you are directed to speak to one of the two officers by the doorway at the other end of Odessen, and he allows you to select the mission type.

well i since i saw this thread i wont start cause kinda relate this thread. im getting to chapter on my second character to go thru kofte. vut didnt get the nunker nusting quests just just talk the lt. so how do i get the compaions now?

You do the basic "Find a Findsman" mission (Yuun) to unlock general Alliance Alerts.

 

You do the basic intelligence gathering Star Fortress mission from the guy in the corridor that leads to the hangar where Aygo stands. (He tells you to go see the Lt or Sgt, depending on your faction. When you do that, select "Story".)

 

That unlocks the six basic alerts, one for each of Tatooine, Belsavis, Nar Shaddaa, Voss, Alderaan, and Hoth, where you visit the companion-to-be and turn in some locked alliance crates (heroic mission rewards). THAT unlocks busting the bunker.

 

THEN you go back to the Lt or Sgt and select *Veteran* (the mission will tell you to do Heroic, but it means Veteran). This drops you in the "Destroying the Star Fortress" mission for that planet.

 

Advice: Do Voss last. The final boss in Veteran Voss has an extra mechanic (potent self-heal), and it's useful to know how the mission goes beforehand. (I didn't do it this way. I just jumped in with both feet straight into Voss without researching anything about what went on inside. I pulled it off, but I really should have read about what would happen...)

 

Advice: Go DPS with a Heal companion.

 

Advice: Boost your companion's Influence rank.

 

Advice: Boost the four Alliance Specialists to at least rank 10 to unlock special buffs. Be aware that the buffs appear on your temporary ability bar (where your Heroic Moment abilities appear), and to put them there you must find and click on blue clickables in slightly out-of-the-way parts of the Star Fortress. They are defended by Zakuul Knight Paladins who are well 'ard and don't go down easily.

So you got Yuun on the BH? The alert unlock is on each character, not one time for the whole legacy. (Just want to make sure I've understood you correctly.)
