I'm starting to lvl up a new sniper and he should reach 55 by the time 2.4 goes live. Since Conqueror will be the new low set of PvP gear, I was wondering if someone could guide me on which pieces to get or point me to a min/max guide. My search Fu is not strong like most of the community.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mostly the same gearing as for pve, but the accuracy only needs to be 95%

95% acc -> main stat -> power -> try to get surge 70%+ -> consider crit to 20-25%

with no crit mods / enh, base crit will end up somewhere near 16-18 which is a bit too low and since quite a few abilities gain extra +dmg from crits, getting it closer to soft cap helps a lot but is not required. Going over 25% is not a good idea at all however.

oddly enough, full set of part/conq professional armor gets you to the correct stats you require, par the semi-useless alacrity. I only had to switch out those enhancements, everything else was more or less good to go.
