cashogy
Hi, we are PvP'ers.......we'll be playing GW2/and or other MMO's.....just thought I'd say hello QFE we were told Rated Warzones will be release before 1.3. why are the devs working on any part of 1.3 before getting the content finished that was supposed to be in 1.2? if this keeps up that 24% sub loss is gonna keep growing...... Bioware is not 8 guys in someone's basement. There is a dev and coding team for each area. The guys that code rated arenas are not the same guys that code legacy rewards, or write quests, who are also not any of the people who write bug fixes, who are not any of the people who code class balancing. Lead Devs oversee projects as a whole, and have 'big picture' in mind, but most of the grunt work coding gets delegated. So because you have "Bob's team" working on 1.3 stuff, does not mean that "jake's team" is not working on PvP stuff.

Hmm you got a pretty good hang on their structure .... hopefully the building had enough room to squeeze a few QA players in the mix as well...or maybe not, which could explain there exhaustive proces of patch, re-patch, patch the patched patch then finally fire-fight and band aid the walking wounded.... BTW if you loved Warhammer's attacking keep doors and having the more populated side always dominating then you will love GW2. If you were expecting more then Warhammers PVP from GW2 you will be disappointed.

GnatB
Bi-monthly = every other month; semi-monthly = twice/month. Apologies to the OP if he already knew that... Actually, one of the totally F'd up things about the english language. B-monthly actually means BOTH every other month AND twice a month. bi·month·ly /baɪˈmʌnθli/ Show Spelled [bahy-muhnth-lee] Show IPA adjective, noun, plural bi·month·lies, adverb adjective 1. occurring every two months. 2. occurring twice a month; semimonthly. Feel free to check it out for yourself, websters site, dictionary.com, whatever.
Jalez
would you rather have a crapy system released or a good system that takes longer to make? BTW if you loved Warhammer's attacking keep doors and having the more populated side always dominating then you will love GW2. If you were expecting more then Warhammers PVP from GW2 you will be disappointed. WRONG...didnt I already explain this to you in another thread on these very forums? GW2 Open World RvR..much like DAoC (not Warhammer) will have a 3 sided faction war.....so no, if 1 side in GW 2 has a super large zerg the other TWO faction sides can team up and bring them down, just like happenned in DAoC when Albion had large zergs, Hibernia and Midgard would join up and kick Alb a**. Also there will. be smallman action in World PvP in GW2...lots of it, plus they have 10 bgs already in Beta(warzones) for 5v5,1v1,2v2,4v4...8v8,10v10 etc... Please never comment on GW2 again without either playing it or reading the Wiki....it is the heir apparent too DAoC(voted best PvP mmo ever)...not warhammer lol
jarjarloves
Fixed it for you bro. because when a new PVP MMO comes out everyone leaves WoW to PVP in the new game. People are going to be really disapoitned by GW2.
Mindsplitter
Jake and Bobs team should both be on server transfers. Get PMP certified and then you'll find out why this is a terrible idea. You're out of your depth, stick to comments about things you understand, like digging for nose gold or something.

You can blaim it on the community if you want but here is the problem. People in MMOs now always go for the easiest target. So as soon as one side gains an adavanatge the other two sides instead of attacking the larger side they fight amonst themseleves looking for the easy kill. I have played the GW2 beta for a while now and its the same ting every time. It doesn't matter what features you add you can never patch player behavior and the player behavior says they will always go for the easy target.
