I've done some searching on the forums for good information about gearing up at level 50 now with 2.0. I'm not sure that it's as important as I'm making it.

 

Prior to 2.0, they were giving out a full set of 126 rating gear. If they're still doing that, I didn't find it. My thought is that my 49th level gear is probably sufficient to plow on toward 55th level.

 

So I am posing a couple of questions here:

 

1) Should I spend some time gearing up or just head to Makeb?

2) Are Flashpoints viable at 50th level or should one just wait until 55 and go for the new equipment that comes with it?
