Deltasniper
I am looking for some more detailed info on force armor Someone told me it absorbs 5% of your total HP is this true? There is a skill that increases it by 10% if the above is true, does that mean 10% of 5%? or a total of 15%
ceazare
No, that's wrong. The amount it absorbs depends on your Bonus Healing stat and it should be in 5k-7k area. The Telekinetic Defense talent will make it absorb 10 % more. Note that Force Armor cannot crit Exact amount of absorbed damage is 1834 + 3.27*BonusHealing If you have Telekinetic Defense talent add 10 % to number you get

JamieKirby
Wow, those strongs and elites must do alot of damage, since my force armors go down in 1-2 hits....sometimes 3.
Merouk
Yeah, it's a spot ability; you won't be able to be shielded 24/7. It's good for: - on a tank, you turn it on to halt damage for a bit as you cast the longer big heal so it lands - on yourself you turn it on if you're taking fire and are trying to cast a long heal or ability, so you can cast in peace - otherwise the best use for it is to absorb/negate attacks that have side effects like stuns / knockdowns / interrupts, which get negated along with the damage Your best companion for PVE is Qyzen as he is a tank and will keep the boss off you so you can cast your damage / heals in peace. I usually shield Qyzen before sending him in vs. a boss, because bosses usually open with a stun or knockback and the shield can absorb that before disappearing, but you have to pay attention and interrupt the boss abilities; you can't just focus on DPS or healing, use your interrupts. Also, Qyzen has to be geared within 5 gear levels of his level, and preferably with +End +Defense gear or mods, or he won't be very good at tanking bosses for you. Sometimes it's hard to find Aim heavy armor that has Defense on it.
