Gelgaroth
I did level a healing merc ages ago, but I quit for a good months, and came back, and am leveling a vanguard tank right now, so don't want to level a commando healer and go through the same story (plus i dislike the assault cannons). So, between sage and scoundrel, which would you say is the most beginner friendly healer? Edited May 25, 2014 by Gelgaroth typo.
cs_zoltan
Either really, only commando is hard to manage at first.
Gelgaroth
XD, my merc was my first real healer, was fairly easy at first. Then I hit level 20, and it got even easier. XD But thank you.
Maldorans
Without shadow of a doubt, Operative/Scoundrel healers are the easiest to learn and play. You don't have to worry about resources and can concentrate on healing.
Gelgaroth
Alrighty. Now, as for scoundrel tanks, because I'll probably stick to pub side, since my main tank is vanguard, which tank, after i have them all available, will be easiest for me to really learn it? Corso, Bowdaar, or Treek? Also, would this be a decent build for scoundrel healer? Or should I tweak it a bit? http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#701MffbzGoRdfsZMfZh.3 Maxed element of surprise, to get sneaky, figuring that 15% speed bonus would help with my mobility, which is much needed for healer. And useful when soloing, when i'm sneaking to behind a group. XD Edited May 28, 2014 by Gelgaroth

XD If you plan to heal groups in PvE I would recommend going with this spec instead: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#701MffrzGoRdfsZ0cZG.3 The alacrity from Black Market Mods increases the channel speed of your biggest heals and helps a bit with energy maintenance. The damage reduction from Scar Tissue makes it easier for you to keep up with healing if you get agro temporarily. The movement speed boost in the spec you posted isn't really useful considering that you are going to get Scamper as your gap closer at lvl 51, and if you want to stealth up behind enemies without pulling agro you can just use Sneak to increase your stealth detection lvl temporarily.
