CaptianFordo
I understand the look of this and how it's awesome, but why is 800k-1mil for a chest alone? That's insane. Katrasle
The price is simply what people are willing to pay and some people really really like the vendetta gear so they are willing to shell out a lot of credits for it. Perfectly normal.

Check out the supreme inquisitor's robe, I've seen that at 2million+ before. The chest piece is the most visible piece of gear, so cool chest pieces will almost always be much more expensive than others. POPsi
+ it's a random, quite rare world-drop, which again pumps up the price.

It's something that I wouldn't mind using my cartel coins on.
Malkavier
The Scorpion gear for Agents is also might rare and expensive, as is the Hellfire gear for PTs/Mercs.
DarthSeraph
they will never make it a cartel item as it is a class specific piece. Each class has them i.e Trooper has the Collosus Jedi Knight has the Battlelord and that one is really expensive goes for about 2-3 mil on my server. I was lucky to get it for 1,.7 mil

Haggardbr
I got a complete set for my sniper one month ago... I got lucky to pay around 1.6 mil for the whole set if I sum up all the part's prices. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x324/Haggardbr/swtor2012-12-0523-08-40-35.png But I changed his gear to vary the looks a bit and now he's more of a "Spec Ops" sniper. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x324/Haggardbr/swtor2013-01-1200-55-26-42_zpsa14cc65f.png And speaking of the Scorpion jacket, I got lucky to find one in my server (Jedi Covenant) for 150,000 CR$ for my Operative. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x324/Haggardbr/swtor2013-01-1211-09-44-07_zpsa92242d2.png

GalaxyStrong
If you take the Vendetta Chest plate and Belt then add the Jedi Valient boots, legs and gloves You will get one BAD-*** looking outfit.

(This is not a cartel item....) http://tor-fashion.com/2012/05/28/rd-07a-vendetta/ That's pretty low. My server usually has them 1.6 - 2+ million. facesofderek
With a little luck, a lot of patience and a heap of someone just not knowing what they had I snagged one off the GTN for 75k last night. Last few times I've seen one posted the price was around 3 million and that was weeks ago. Down to just wanting the belt now.

mandoforlife
I was browsing the GTN one day, when I suddenly saw the vendetta jacket for 40k... I INSTANTLY bought it. I feel kinda bad for the poor guy who sold it, didn't know what he had... but hey, now my operative looks great
ZakMorgan
Well that's the thing, many people lucky enough to have it drop sometimes sell it for cheapish prices, thinking they're just another generic orange drop. Though most the time they average 2million credits at the minimum. I remember before 1.2 where you couldn't take out mods from end-game gear, back then Vendetta gear was being sold for peanuts. In hindsight I should have bought the pieces en masse, I would have made an absolute fortune today

CharlieBrown
I've seen the chest piece going for 1.4 mill - 2.2 mill on my server. I was lucky enough to get a supreme inquisitor robe from a lockbox on my operative while leveling. I sold that for the price of a vendetta chest and broke even. The gloves, bracers, pants and boots have run me about 300k total. Add another 200k for a scorpion helm and generic Agent's Belt and I'm sitting pretty. I haven't bound any of the pieces to my operative yet, as I'm level 45 right now. I'm going to wait to see what the gear from 1.7 looks like before I bind it. Who knows, maybe Tron suit agent looks better
