Daily Missions and the Operative

Note: This guide now incorporates the numerous changes introduced in version 1.2. If you see anything that isn't right, post here and I'll correct it. If you find a better way to do a mission, that's even better to share! (no exploits please)

 

Until recently I'd been space-barring my way through the quests just to get them done ASAP. But when I realized how much companion affection I can build from the quests, I started paying attention to the responses that gave me the most affection with each companion. It builds up fast!

 

In the sections below, I list which choices give the most affection (or at least prevent losing affection) for each companion. Each choice is separated by a comma. I use an arrow (=>) to distinguish between choices made at the start of the quest and choices made at the end. The number in parentheses is the amount of affection gain for the choice. Note: you don't have to use the companion during the quest to gain affection, you just have to have them with you when you have the conversations with the quest giver.

 

Below I am giving the steps I go through each day now that I've done all of the missions at least once. There are several missions that have a bonus portion that you can do to collect a few more daily commendations the first time you complete the mission. These portions aren't available after the first time, so I'm not including that info here.

 

Latest discovery: The implants are bind-on-equip and I have verified that you can buy them for your other characters if they can't do the dailies as easily. The earpieces are bind-on-pickup. So are the new relics introduced in 1.2.

 

Version 1.2 added the ability to gain affection with your ship droid 2V-R8, but it doesn't appear that daily missions give any affection for him.

 

I originally wrote this for Operatives so the tips are geared to them, but I'm adding Sniper notes at the end of each section to note how Snipers can do the missions.

 

Belsavis - Imperial Domination Outpost

Once you land on the planet and get a little ways from the shuttle, you can use Quick Travel to get to the Imperial Domination Outpost much faster than using the speeder service. If you haven't been there yet, it's in the SW corner of the map.

 

Lights Out (3 commendations + companion weapons)

Instead of going in the main entrance, go around the left/east side until you enter the heroic area from above. Dismiss your companion (can only cause problems) and drop down to the east controller. You can jump up behind the computer so that your body is hidden from the nearby enemies even when you unstealth. From there you can still hit the button on the front of the computer and then restealth. Instead of trying to sneak past the enemies, go to the side of the fence and squeeze through the opening there. Use Sneak to get into the central and west controller areas and use the same behind-the-computer method to avoid aggro. These areas can be escaped via the same gap by the fence.

 

Even though this mission is a 2-person heroic, you can kill the Commander solo (now a requirement of the mission post-1.2). He has 102k Health and a lot of special, channeled attacks, but I could kill him with Dr. Lokin as long as I interrupted his channels with Debilitate, Flash Bang, Distract, and just plain line-of-sight. If you do get hit by some of his attacks, just pull Lokin around the generator with you and let him heal you - the commander will try to hit you with his Orbital Strike (easily avoided) before actually running after you, so you easily have time to heal up.

 

Sniper note: Activating a control panel takes 6 seconds and you can't activate them while fighting any more (post 1.2), so no more running in naked and hitting the panel before the enemies kill you. You can still run in naked, die, and use the post-rez immunity to get behind the computer where the enemies can't see you but you can hit the panel. Alternatively, you can drop down from the east entrance, hit the panel on the east generator (you *really* have to hug the wall to avoid aggro), then make a run for the entrance around the east side, then repeat running along the top of the wall each time, but that is really time-consuming and if you don't make it to the entrance, you're just eating another death. The champion is as soloable for a sniper as he is for an operative, but I'd recommend getting close to him while shooting so you can use cover pulse and debilitate for extra interrupts.

 

Old Enemies (3 commendations + Grade 22 armor mod)

If you are doing this 2-person heroic with a friend or more, you can stealth past everything while your group stays at the entrance. From behind Raxxus, put your companion on passive and throw a grenade at him and hit Cloaking Screen. Raxxus will then run to your group at the entrance while you sneak back out. You should arrive at about the same time.

 

You can also solo Raxxus with this strategy:

  • Use no DoTs on him - no Corrosive Dart or Acid Blade. They will prevent you from using Flash Bang and Lokin's Carbonized Stream effectively.
  • Keep Stim Boost up as much as you can, especially if you've spec'd to have it heal you.
  • Use Advanced Recon too! I always forget it.
  • Use only Shiv, Lacerate, Backstab, and Rifle Shot - you want to save your energy for healing.
  • Whenever you get a bit low on health, finish with a Shiv to get a TA, then use Debilitate or Flash Bang to CC Raxxus while you use Kolto Infusion/Injection to get your health back up.
  • If you are lucky, Lokin will use Carbonize Stream sometimes too. Use those opportunities to heal as well.
  • Use Shield Probe whenever you need to as well.

Sniper note: I suicide ran to Raxxus and revived, but I couldn't manage to get him below 50% before dying. Finding a duo partner shouldn't be too hard, though.

 

Invisible Threat (1 commendation)

If you kill the commander at the entrance and one group of normals on your way to do Lights Out, you can do the same thing on your way back. That way you can finish the quest without having to take the time running down into the underground area.

Unintended Consequences (1 commendation)

The wraith box components drop from the enemies outside the entrance as well as those inside. Once you have all of the components, stealth down to the end of the quest, use Sleep Dart on the elite, and assemble the box. Then it's just stealthing back out again.

Belsavis - "North"

Ancient Transmissions (1 commendation)

Sneak in killing Strongs as you go. One of them will have the console key. Then just stealth to the console and turn in the quest.

Simply stealth in until you have to go right or left. Take the right to where there is an elite standing in the room. You can go around the room collecting the 4 crates you need without fighting that Esh-kha. Then just sneak back out.

Reluctant Volunteers (1 commendation)

I usually capture the Savants while running between other quests. Put your companion on passive while fighting the Savants so they don't kill them before you can capture them. The Savants are weak and will stop attacking you once they get low enough in health to be caputred. Just mind their knockback ability so you aren't thrown into another pack.

 

Sniper note: This is the same for Snipers as it is for Operatives (though you can use Entrench to prevent the knockback if you want).

 

Freeing the Fallen (3 commendations + Grade 22 armor)

You can stealth all the way to the end of this area without using Sneak if you jump up on the pillars when going around corners. Here you'll want to summon Lokin if you aren't using him. The jedi here has a lot of health, but his only ability that really hits hard is the pulsing ground ability - as long as you stay out of that (back up as you melee) and CC him when you get low on health, he's not too hard. Once he's dead, remember to hit the console at the end of the room or you'll just have to sneak back in later.

 

Sniper note: You'll have to suicide run to the jedi if you don't have a group, though it will take 2 or 3 rezzes if you go naked to avoid repair costs. It's even tough to get there fully clothed so I tend to actually kill the last pack of droids since I can CC the elite.

 

The jedi is annoying to kill as a Sniper for one simple reason - Lokin likes to break your Leg Shot. If I could just Leg Shot him, run to the other side of the room while Lokin heals me, then unload until he gets to me and repeat, it wouldn't be hard at all. But having to micromanage Lokin makes it more challenging (wish he had a "just follow me and heal me and stop adding your pathetic 20 dps" stance). Try to keep Lokin in the middle of the room while you run back and forth past him so you stay in healing range. Use your heroic ability too for the heal-over-time. The jedi will CC Lokin occassionally too (lifts him in the air), so be mindful of that as well.

 

The Carriers of Xenovirus Prime (1 commendation)

Stealth to each side, avoiding or killing the strong droid that wanders around and kill the droids near the cells. The scanner is not currently working reliably so you have to mark cells to figure out if they have carriers, but there are always 2 per side so you can stop trying once you have two. Note: in front of one of the cells there's a lore object giving the history of Belsavis prison.

Deadly Mutations (1 commendation)

This mission is picked up in the tunnel north of the other missions. Save this mission until you are also doing Droid Malfunction to save some travel.

Droid Malfunction (1 commendation)

You have to turn in Found in Translation and Reluctant Volunteers (or at least one of them - I always turn them in at the same time) to unlock this mission. Pick up the Deadly Mutations mission on your way to finish this mission.

Ilum

There's not much affection to be gained on Ilum for some reason, but there is a bit here and there. I would consider this bugged, actually. On Belsavis, Kaliyo always went for the money choice and Vector and Temple always went with the altruistic choice. On Ilum, though, they generally seem ambivalent. Maybe they can't hear over the howling wind?

 

Sniper note: The missions on Ilum are pretty much the same for Snipers as for Operatives as stealth doesn't help much here. You'll have to kill a few more Talz since you can't Sleep Dart them of course.

 

Poisonous Strategy (3 commendations + Grade 22 enhancement)

As soon as you touch down on Ilum start looking for a partner (or more) for Poisonous Strategy. I have heard of well-geared people finding ways to solo it, but not reliably. It can be hard to find someone for this mission, so I often skip it.

 

When you do it, remember you can CC a humanoid with Sleep Dart and a droid with Slice Droid - makes getting to the environmental controls easier. The two jedis that spawn aren't very tough except for an ability that pounds the ground with a nasty, high-damage AE. Try to stay out of that. CC one of them if you can at all - let your partner know not to use AE til the first one is down if you are going to do that. If you both have a strong healer companion, you may be able to take one each if you spread them out.

 

Operation Shatterstorm (1 commendation)

You are looking for the Talz Network Communication Towers. Note that there are several of them where you can Sleep Dart the Talz nearest to the tower and then collect the data unmolested.

 

Defend the Shipment (1 commendation) - usually bugged so can't complete

Version 1.2 appears to have fixed this mission so that it is completable even after the first day after a patch/server reset. If it's working, there are droids near the encounters which drop stealth-detection probes, so watch out for those. Otherwise, the mission is simple.

 

A Tightened Grip (1 commendation)

This mission starts with Lord Tetsu a little further into the Imperial Base Camp. Simple, if a bit out-of-the-way, quest. You only need to kill 8 Republic soldiers/droids. Destroying the crates is just bonus.

These two missions are done in the same location. To find the place I do them, head into the area of the enounter and head due west until you come to a cave in the mountainside. By the cave entrance is a box on the ground - collect it for the Rightful Owner mission. To the east a little bit is another box guarded by 2 enemies - kill them and take that box. The first box should have respawned by then so collect it. Now look just to the south for the mining equipment for the Sabotage mission - click on the controls and 5 enemies will spawn. Drop an Orbital Strike where you're standing to beat them up. Take out the Specialists first since they heal. Now your 2 boxes should have respawned - collect them to finish Rightful Owner. If this area isn't up or is bugged, there's another area to the SW where you can do them.

 

Space

One other quest that gives daily commendations is the space quest "Ascendancy Barrier" (2 commendations per day). Have at least grade 5 ship upgrades for this lengthy space quest. The Power Conversion Module (shield regen & gun upgrades) and Electronic Warfare Pod (stops enemies from targeting you for 10s) are important too. The EMP Generator and Photon Torpedoes can be useful for parts too, but aren't vital.

 

The key to this mission is to keep focused on the objectives. Note that destroying all of the various ships and mines over 150 is useless. Just keep your shield regen ability up during those phases and avoid as much damage as possible. Once you've blasted 150 mines, just blast the big ships with everything you've got to complete the mission. And watch out for those asteroids!

 

I've found that I have the most life left on my ship at the end if I use my EMP in the first minefield and then again near the end. EMP takes out all of the mines nearby which makes getting to 150 trivial. I save my Electronic Warfare Pod ability until near the end when I'm zeroing in on the minelayer amidst a hoard of mines. Saves a lot of wear on my armor.

 

Corellia - Black Hole

Version 1.2 introduced a new daily mission area. The mission starts on the Imperial Space Station via a NPC near the cantina. You only have to start here the first day - each day after that can be started directly in the Black Hole (on Corellia). 1.2 also introduced some new relics which are 200 daily commendations each.

 

The Black Hole area has 5 solo missions (including the easiest one you've every done) worth 6 daily commendations and a 4-person heroic mission worth 3 daily commendations. The heroic daily takes a while to complete even with a full group and it doesn't appear to be soloable (though I could get to the end area with my Operative without much trouble), so it may not be worth the time most days. Operatives do well on the heroic daily since they can CC a human and a droid from each pack. You don't really need a full group to do it - 3 dps or 2 dps and a healer or tank handle it pretty well usually.

 

Keep in mind, though, that prior to 1.2 you had to do every daily mission for 5 days to get the 120 commendations needed to buy a rakata implant or earpiece. With these 9 new commendations you can now get to 120 in 4 days.

 

There is also a weekly mission worth 5 Black Hole commendations. It is accomplished simply by doing all the daily missions on the same day. Black Hole commendations can be used to buy gear from the PvE vendors on the Imperial Space Station.

 

The missions are mostly started and ended at a mission console rather than with NPCs, so there's not much chance for conversations to get companion affection. Even so, there doesn't seem to be any companion affection gains available here anyhow.

The Jedi in Freeing the Fallen is actually quite the wuss, as long as you don't stand in the aoe he drops on the ground. So if you don't want to play with droids, Lokin can easily heal you through a fight with him without breaking a sweat.

The Belsavis portion is now done and I'm taking both my Sniper and Operative through to get the Ilum part complete.

 

I'm also going to add notes for Snipers so that this is a complete IA compendium. Does anyone know if I can change the title of the whole thread to say "Imperial Agent" instead of "Operative"? I can only seem to change the title of the first post in the thread.

Should be 100% complete now for both Belsavis and Ilum (minus the broken Defending the Shipment quest - I don't know if it has end choices).

 

I added notes for Snipers too, though there's not much difference other than having to kill or "suicide bypass" stuff an Operative can stealth past.

 

Once 1.2 is released, I'll run through the quests again on both Operative and Sniper to see what changes.

 

I'll also add any new dailies that are added to the game.

Interesting. I've been soloing these for a while now, once your well geared, even Raxus is an easy job solo.

 

However I didn ot realise that handing in the first two dailies on Northern Belsavis opened a new quest. I have doen this quest, but only intermittently. I thought it was a once a week jobbie :p

 

The Raxus tip for a group is awesome. I might give that a go!

 

You learn something new...

 

I am quite gutted about the Lights Out change, however the wife is nearly 50 so I guess she'll be bringing the DPS whilst I heal and Kal tanks.

1.2 Update Changes to Daily Belsavis/Ilum Missions

 

General

 

  • Since I've maxxed affection with my companions, I've been dismissing them while picking up quests so I can spacebar through them without worrying about negative affection hits. Post-1.2, though, they are resummoned after picking up the quest. Annoying. Now I have to dismiss them before talking to each quest-giver (or at least pick a few options that have affection gains on the last couple quests I do).
  • My companions were not in any of their stances when I first summoned them. This probably happens after every patch and I never noticed, but it's something to watch out for.
  • Now, if you need a Mission Item for a mission, it has an icon up by the quest name so you don't have to open your inventory or bind the item to your quickbar. Like! Reluctant Volunteers and The Carriers of Xenovirus Prime aren't so annoying any more.
  • Being able to go straight from the planet surface to your ship is so nice. Doesn't work the other way, unfortunately, but at least you can use your speeders in the orbital stations now.

Lights Out

  • Now a 2 person Heroic (down from 4 person). The trash mobs are mostly downgraded to strongs and hit much weaker. I ran straight from the middle generator to the entrance through 2 packs without dying.
  • Have to kill the champion-level Commander now, in addition to deactivating the 3 generators. He has 102k Health and a lot of special, channeled attacks, but I found it quite soloable (did it two out of two times) with Dr. Lokin as long as I interrupted his channels with Debilitate, Flash Bang, Distract, and just plain line-of-sight. He doesn't have any adds as long as you avoid the mobs near the stairs. If you do get hit by some of his attacks, just pull Lokin around the generator with you and let him heal you - the commander will try to hit you with his Orbital Strike (easily avoided) before actually running after you, so you easily have time to heal up. I am not particularly well-geared either (mostly Centurion stuff from PvP outside of my Rakata daily mission stuff), and Lokin even less so. On the plus side he seems to drop loot like other champion mobs - got a pair of heavy armor orange boots with level 50 mods in them on one kill.
  • They moved the enemies on the western generator closer to the controls so you can't stand at the controls without aggroing them any more. You also can't stealth past them anymore without using Sneak. Sneak does work for getting past them, though, as it always did. Going around the edges of the fence also works, thought it's only simple to get in that way on the middle generator.
  • You *can* still stand behind the edges of all 3 control computers while still being able to reach the control panel and the enemies still can't see you, even unstealthed.
  • Activating the control panels now takes 6 seconds (up from, I think, 3 seconds). This should make it tougher for visibles to naked run to the controls and activate them before dying.
  • Overall, still quite soloable for an Operative - just takes a few more minutes. Likely much easier for visibles to get done too.
  • The techstaff reward for Scorpio is now an orange moddable weapon (!) like the other companion weapon rewards.
  • Still get 3 daily commendations.

 

Old Enemies

  • Now a 2 person Heroic (down from 4 person). Most elites downgraded to strongs and strongs to normals. Feels easy to sneak in to Raxxus now without even worrying about Sleep Dart.
  • Still worth 3 daily commendations.
  • Raxxus now does not hit nearly as hard as he did before. My first time trying him I straight-up tanked him and died but got him to under 25% using just Dr. Lokin and a med pack for healing. Someone with better gear can probably pull this off with no special strategy. Unfortunately, none of his special attacks are channeled and therefore uninteruptible.
  • I managed to solo him on my fifth try (and another try after that) with this strategy:
    • Use no DoTs on him - no Corrosive Dart or Acid Blade. They will prevent you from using Flash Bang and Lokin's Carbonized Stream effectively.
    • Keep Stim Boost up as much as you can, especially if you've spec'd to have it heal you.
    • Use Advanced Recon too! I always forget it.
    • Use only Shiv, Lacerate, Backstab, and Rifle Shot - you want to save your energy for healing.
    • Whenever you get a bit low on health, finish with a Shiv to get a TA, then use Debilitate or Flash Bang to CC Raxxus while you use Kolto Infusion/Injection to get your health back up.
    • If you are lucky, Lokin will use Carbonize Stream sometimes too. Use those opportunities to heal as well.
    • Use Shield Probe whenever you need to as well.

 

Unintended Consequences

  • Getting wraith box components from droids now. I think they only dropped from the Kaleesh before. Nice.

 

The Carriers of Xenovirus Prime

  • The scanner no longer tells you if a cell has an infected person in it. Have to take 6 seconds to lay the marker at each cell to know. Takes a few extra seconds.

 

Freeing the Fallen

  • Dragging the droids over the jedi no longer causes him to attack them.
  • Still can solo him just by using Corrosive Dart and Sever Tendon and kiting, though it will take a while. His only ability that really hits hard is the pulsing ground ability - as long as you stay out of that (back up as you melee) and CC him when you get low on health, he's not too hard.

 

Defend the Shipment

  • As expected, this quest was completable the day after a patch. Found that there are no conversation options at the end of the mission.
  • There are droids up there which drop stealth detectors, so avoid those. But otherwise the quest is cake.

 

Poisonous Strategy

  • I was hoping that they tuned this down to be easier as well, but it's just as dastardly as ever.

Did the new Black Hole quests. Pretty dull really. The heroic 4 is ok, but too long for 3 commendations. Didn't get any companion affection changes on the quests either since they are mostly started/ended at a mission box rather than a NPC. I may or may not add those quests to this post.

I thought this was going to be a pretty quick project, but it has enveloped my playing time for much of the last 2 weeks. I still need to get the earpiece for my sniper, but I don't know if I can bring myself to grind it out without stealth. ;)

The H4 Black Hole quest can be solo'd as op, though can be tricky and all the time you save skipping trash you waste on the last champ boss.Think il only bother doing it once a week.

Care to share your methods for soloing the mission? I beat the bodyguard to get the key (by using the same method I used on Raxxus), but in the final room I couldn't solo 3 strongs and an elite - I kited them around a while but they eventually wore me down. And I think there's another wave of strongs and normals after that before getting to the champion. Feel free to send me a private message if you want.

 

I like having the option to solo even if it's time-consuming for the times I can't find a group.

I am not sure what's Tehunseen's strategy to solo H4 but I can share with you with mine.

 

I am healing Operative, I use Temple as companion with AoE abilities turned off.

So up to the last chamber it's quite easy to solo the problem comes when 3 strong mobs and one elite spawn.

I put Kolto Probes on myself and companion before pushing the button. After pushing it there is a brief pause before the mobs are spawned so precast orbital bombardment, also allows you to start Stim boost.

Assign Temple on some strong mob, pop Evasion and Shield and help with dps. By the time the shields ends the 1st mob should be dead. All mobs should be hammering you.

Assign Temple on another strong mob and throw flashbang. Immediately after it damage the focused mob so Temple will continue dpsing him. You will be probably quite low on health by this time but don't fall back to healing yourself yet. Debilitate -> Eviscerate -> Backstab the focused mob and start healing yourself. The focused mob should be almost dead when other enemies kick back into fight. Now is the time for Endorphin rush, Medpacks and other healing CDs. When the 2 strong mobs are dead it should be easy to heal yourself.

Be careful to not let Ensign take the aggro through fight. There isn't much time/health for taking aggro back or healing 2 targets.

 

After this pack pull back a bit behind corner so the ads will come approximately into same spot. Turn AoE abilities of companion ON and select Assault mode (AoE). The ads can be basically AoEd like this. Dps only with Frag grenades, Orbital strikes and finish almost death enemies. It's not that hard.

The final boss is even more simple to solo :)

 

And yes I like to solo difficult heroic missions too ;)

My Gear isn't great ( mix of centurion/champion/custom w/50 mods) and a basic concealment spec.

 

Only the first wave is hard.

I started with kaliyo out, hit Heroic Moment/relic/adrenal just as the mobs drop, get Kaliyo straight onto the elite so i don't get hit by that knock-back, drop OS/Legacy OS/legacy Lightning storm and the legacy unity cd (which i did have to buy purely for this :p) make sure to interrupt that channeled cast the elite uses. Saved shield/evasion for when i was about 50% and also had a squad med unit to use. I still had to cc/kite the elite around for a little thanks to missing an interrupt.

 

once that pack was down i switched to Lokin and just made sure one strong was cc'd, only 2 will be up at a time i think, focused the weak mobs down till they stop coming, then started on the strongs.

 

The last guy is easy, can just los/kite him around the center if it starts getting a bit dicey, does take a while though.

 

So what i lacked in gear Biochem probably made up for.

Just a heads up that you're missing A Tightened Grip from Lord Tetsu on Ilum. The only companion affection is Kaylio who gets 15 from choice 3 at the first conversation point.

 

Excellent! Thanks for finding that. I hadn't gone far enough into the Imperial Base Camp to notice that mission indicator before. I ran through the mission quickly to verify it and added it to the original post. It's terribly easy, though a bit out of the way.

"The jedi is annoying to kill as a Sniper for one simple reason - Lokin likes to break your Leg Shot. If I could just Leg Shot him, run to the other side of the room while Lokin heals me, then unload until he gets to me and repeat, it wouldn't be hard at all. But having to micromanage Lokin makes it more challenging (wish he had a "just follow me and heal me and stop adding your pathetic 20 dps" stance)."

 

Take his gun away, he'll become a pure healbot ;)

Hi, i do solo this quest and it's pretty fast.

I'm full DPS Lethality, companion is Lokin.

1. stealth to npc that drops the key -> orbital strike, interrupt it's flammable grenade and just DPS it down

2. in the last room:

there is middle platform (displaying that big holo), that you can hop on using the console in front (hop onto console, from console onto platform)

the fight has 3 stages:

1st wave (gold + 3x strong): i stand where they spawn, cast Orbital strike on me + pop Evasion + Shield probe then: debilitate+shiv gold, corrosive grenade, grenade, corrosive dart on gold + cull. By this time i have to start run toward the middle platform (i use flashbang to slow them down - even though my dots will brake it soon)

I hop onto platform - there you can LOS - but not for long time, or the 1st wave disappear and you have to start over ... i just LOS there, pew-pew gold until he dies (have to cast few heals), strong are finished with CG + grenade ... what ever

 

2nd wave:

i keep standing on platform, keep aggro from Lokin, using orbital strike + CG + G

 

3rd wave:

boss - easiest part, i just stand there, DPS boss, Lokin heals me (using evasion+shield probe whenever i can), if any trouble arises, just run few times around platform ...

 

Doing it first time, i died 5 times, now i just dont die (unless doing some stupid mistake, like missing keyboard button and press other spec or something - this actually happens, because i'm already bored with this quest because it's routine ... ) :-)

EoT solo with IA Operative -

 

First group, CC the elite humanoid on the right and stealth past them and up the elevator

Second group, stealth and hug the right wall and CC the second normal on the right

Third group, blackout and run past them and continue around the left of the next two groups too, through the doorway.

Next group, hug the right hand side and CC the strong.

 

Kill the Champion for the key

 

Make your way back to the center by hugging the wall and CCing the strong again.

Blackout past the two bots and two elites, and up the elevator

Hug the left and jump over/through the boxes. Don't even need to be stealthed. Open the first door.

Blackout past next group and open the second door.

 

The end is all about survivability. You can't CC anything, you'll just have to fight it out.
