The vanguard, on the other hand, will give you the option to tank, which, trust me, you want. Commando healing is pretty weak compared to other classes. I think this is the most important part, I picked vanguard and boy was I disappointed in the later levels. Re-rolled into commando. Also depends if you like off-healing or off-tanking or being more tanky. And both can dps pretty damn well, style's are different though.
