I want my missing Matrix Shards that I already collected!

There are so many posts about this I don't feel like or have the time to read a 100 threads with varying reasons and speculations about this. Can someone please tell me officially what the heck happened and whats going on now?

I read posts saying it was a 4.0 unintended bug and others saying it was intentional. I also read past patch notes saying the "Missing Matrix Shards have been returned to their rightful owners".

yet my Shards and Relics are still missing. I put in a ticket yet days later I have received no response.

We can't collect them again on characters that got them already. I don't care if they have become some what obsolete at endgame. They are still in the game and I earned them so I want them back!

If they where returned in a past patch why did I and many others never get them back?

Is there an official dev answer on whats going on about this?

Is there a fix on the way?

Can we somehow find them in collections or some reclaim spot I didn't see?
