The Sith, broken and spread, are but a shadow of their past. The One Sith rule appears to be cast aside by all members from now - and from the past - , and personal interest are, more than ever, ahead of the orders success.

As for the Jedi, they crossed a dangerous threshold. Now they are, indeed, part of the ruling body of the supreme galactic government. For more than 25,000 thousand years they were the defenders of peace for the former Republic, but now they are "officially" giving the orders.

Personally, aside their major defeat and near extinction, I never saw the Sith so close to victory. Better, not the Sith, but the dark side itself. But since this is an controversial and entirely speculative matter, nothing better than a good debate.
