Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone who has played a Sith or Jedi wanted a saber as their first weapon, nowadays it is easier to try and get this saber. From what I've heard one way to get this saber is to purchase the pack it comes in and hope to get it, or, if you have a character that can afford (depending on server and price-range) you can buy it and mail it to your new character. Now I don't know if this would be something that people would complain about and say "Why does he/she get a saber so early and I don't?!" so I would recommend using it if you choose, but if you don't want to deal with possible complaints, stick to your training weapons.
