Harrower Dreadnaught model Update!

We would like a review and cosmetic update to the guild ship model! This seems appropriate considering the new central role these ships play in the Conquest End Game!

TLDR version - Please update the model of the guild Harrower Class drednaught to the more detailed model from the cinematic! The lower resolution models used have many major features missing, including major gun emplacements and systems.

View this image to see areas for improvement of the model! Thank you!

EDIT - A large, high resolution model exits in game already, sitting in low orbit over Korriban! Please consider using it!

Ruin Gaming returned to SWTOR recently in order to purchase and outfit our Guild Flagship.

The process of fundraising and outfitting a guild ship is enormously expensive and a point of pride for all of us in Ruin Gaming. We are enormously grateful that Bioware has delivered on the long standing promise of providing this content to our members. It is the primary reason we have returned with our member base. I suspect our guild is not alone in this regard.

In the spirit of continuing to improve and expand upon the amazing Guild Ship system it has come to our attention that there are some odd inconsistencies in the model for the ship and the general layout of some the rooms etc. In the process of constructing our Flagship we have noticed several oversights with the model. Windows on the crew and command deck look out into space, however, panning the camera around reveals that the ship model is not present beneath them, as it is on the Bridge deck.

There are several models for the ship in game, a low resolution low texture version and much higher detail versions. We would like to see an update to the current more high resolution models.

The Dreadnaught model should be updated to look like the rendering from the cinematics, more detailed with all of the major gun emplacements present.

Yes, let's take everything that was every shown in a Blur cinematic (Satele, Malgus, Jace, Coruscant, Alderaan) and make the game models look exactly the same. I'm sure that's a very easy and cost-effective use of BioWare's time. Edited by Nemarus

I made this version of the model. I guarantee you will not be running it at anything approaching a reasonable frame rate in the game. You'll never get anywhere near pre-rendered quality with a game engine.

^This guy gets it. While asking for a upgrade to quality is by no means unreasonable, pre-rendered beats game engines in most graphical cases, especially by professional CGI such as Blur studios. Upgrading the Ship's resolution and texturing would be nice, but to even come close to a pre-rendered cutscenes would be a drastic use of resources, and I enjoy having a good frame rate. I personally don't find it too terrible. This is only my knowledge, others are more knowledgable about this.

Just as an aside, I checked out the art on your website and I think it is fantastic! Keep up the great work.
