I dare you to post a proper link and actually the last game I saw auto groupping detract from was Rift. So stop pulling WoW out of your rear end.

The answer is have a little patience, play well, and be respectful.

You can be the best player the most respectful person on the server doesn't mean your getting a group, doesn't mean people will invite you or join you nor does it mean they will invite you to a guild or even talk to you.

You think because people want to run content with other real live people it makes them somehow a inpatient person. How do you figure that.

Pretty sure if you had to spend 2 hours a day trying to get a group and failing you might have different prespective on being patient.

If I could open up chat and start spamming get a group in 20 minutes that would be awsome even in 30 minutes thats fine it would be great actually.

You cant sit there and tell people that hunt for others to play with for hours not patient. You cant tell people with low server pops to be patient.

Be patient man you wont run any of the content from 10-49 but man after that first 6 months of no groups you will be set at 50! Build those ties!

You mentioned that trying to cater to more people = socialism.

Yet you are "FORCING" people to be patient by making it hard for them to find a group.

Frankly, there is absolutely 0 difference between pugs you get from LFG tool or Spamming general chat. The only difference is that LFG tools enables us to get them quicker.

People are going to wait for hours to group for top level dungeons in the first month of a game with or without auto groupping. Its soooo simple. It took me two days to get proof of treason and special delivery done. I'm not complaining because its par for the course in a new game like this. Again, this is month one. Its WAY too early to whine about not finding groups. If you disagree, I would call you impatient.

Stop relating how groups are formed to how people act in group.

If someone is an d bag they will be regardless. You think someone out to purposely be a di ck cares if they get kicked from your pug? Hell no they dont. And they know you will have to halt progress and spend another chunk of time getting a group because now you have to leave the flashpoint go back to fleet spam for another member for who knows how long.

This is just not true. If someone is a D-bag in a game that doesen't have an auto group LFG, they don't get away with it for long. From this little discussion, I gathered that your definition of "fun in MMO" is

1. Finding groups for hours via spamming LFG in general

2. Accidentally grouped up with someone with less than stellar skills who acts like they know everything and unwilling to listen to your explanation of the fight.

2a. Tough it out and wipe in a flashpoint for 4 hours before quitting group and did not finish daily HM because you need to sleep for work next morning.

2b. Leave the group, try to find another HM group for 3 hours and did not finish the daily HM because you need to sleep for work next morning before you can find group.

Unfortunately this is not my definition of "fun" in anything.

Server reputation in mmos became a thing of the past with the auto group LFG. If you were actually interested in being honest you would acknowledge that but you want what you want and you want it now.

Same here, i cant get a group for hammer, athiss or half of those useless flashpoints and heroics in Balmorraa. I am NOT going to stand around typing LFG for 2 sodding hours hoping someone will appear. I am paying to PLAY this game, i am NOT paying to stand around and wait for a group to form.

That was one of the worst thing in the wow ! Totally made from mmo experience a single playser experience full of trolls , really really stupid ppl etc...

Find yourself some nice guild and start to talk with your guildmates its so much bigger fun. Or go play singleplayer games.

Altought one server lfg would be nice. Well anyway in few weeks most ppl will just be on fleet so it is not big deal.
