The fact there's been a billion threads over the years--and they're still up--about the bug/imp hunt should tell you it wasn't an exploit. Visorknight Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 The only "exploit" right now that needs fixing is when a guild uses kill bots to gain farm tons of conquest points per kills. This is an issue that still need to be addressed as it deprives non cheating guilds a chance to win planets the right way. A Question Of Motivation is a [Heroic 2+] Most [Heroic 2+] don't allow an OPs group to enter. The maximum amount of players that can normally enter any [Heroic] is 4. Yet, there are quite a few players that "insist" this isn't "exploiting". Their "claim" is that if it was an exploit, the DEVs would have completely "nerfed it" by now.... Translation: Devs address bug hunt issue but don't nerf ability for op-groups to enter. Instead, only the XP gained is nerfed, proving conclusively that the devs want to maintain the "exploit." The complaints make absolutely no sense otherwise, unless trolling. Power-leveling by killing elites has been a thing ever since the dawn of MMOs. The fact BW nerfed something that has happened in every MMO is actually sad, but still doesn't make it an exploit. The reason they nerfed it was because of the new conquest gains, the exploit was people getting massive amounts of CQ points for just standing around killing bugs.
