Addons in the future, not for a while - Here's why

If you really think about it, it's not hard to understand why there are currently no addons allowed in the game and it's kind of simple once you understand it.

The reason there are no addons is because currently, the game can't handle them. Think about it, the game just isn't optimized yet and addons add stress to the game. If people have trouble running the game as it is, how well do think their system would run it if they had a bunch addons doing their thing at the same time? Result? It wouldn't be smooth. They don't even have high res textures in the game because they know the system can't handle it. Hell, during the guild summit the guy said there aren't even chat bubbles because it destroyed the games performance. If something simple like chat bubbles destroyed the performance, imagine what addons would do to it.

They'll add them in the future because it's something players want, but with their current system it's just not possible. Maybe in a year or so, but definitely not for a while.
