--Overview-

 

 

Novus Dominion is an 18+ Heavy RP-PvX Imperial guild. The central theme of the guild is story, building Role Play in a way that can be interactive, fun, and long lasting. The guild has a history, being formed from two previous Dominion's (Shadow Dominion & Sovereign Dominion), the same leadership has either directly influenced or had part in the direction of the Dominion since it's creation in 2014. However, the guild has roots all the way to the release of the game in The Sovereign Aeons. Novus Dominion hopes to revive the great story telling and expierence in the newly merged Star Forge server, having been long absent since the days of Ebon Hawk. Novus Dominion this time around, hopes to be deeply involved in building the entire community up, attending and hosting public events, and involving others to help stimulate and build RP for all.

 

-History-

 

Years ago, the Novus Dominion began its roots with the council members playing together in the guild Sovereign Aeons. Here expierence and training was practiced in the early days of the Cold War and eventual spread of the Great Galactic War, and the Makeb Hutt Crisis. Overlord Harbinger rose to power before the Revanites grew to full power, leading multiple campaigns in the name of the Empire. Forming Shadow Dominion, years of prosperity befell the new Dominion until the Zakuul invasion of their homeworld Ashas Ree. The Eternal Empire of Zakuul would ravage the galaxy for many years, causing the Dominion to fracture, and reform into the Sovereign Dominion, until finally it too fell. Now with the Zakuul threat seeming to be over, and the return of the Overlord and his Council, the Dominion will once more rise to bring glory to the Sith.

Novus Dominion strives to be influential and beneficial to the sever by bringing an element of storytelling expierence not many guilds have. We seek RPiers who aren't afraid to build themselves up in character, developing their characters and bonds in and out of the guild. We seek Sith who aren't afraid to learn, but also teach. Imperial Soldiers who can follow orders, and give them when needed. Loyalty to the Dominion above all things, helping us build the guild from within, while building the Empire as a whole. People willing to go to events, follow instructions, and enjoy good old fashion dice roll combat. (With other fun events in between). The Novus Dominion is an open expierence for many to enjoy!

The Sith of Novus Dominion will have an interactive expierence as we rebuild our old Academy system. Classes to teach lore and Sith history, along with practing your ability in the force. Master/Apprentice system for our Lords on up for students to be apprentices once they graduate the Academy. Sith are the heart and soul of the Dominion, as it is ruled by Sith and intends to keep Imperial tradition.

The Dominion Military is a proud service of the overall Imperial Military. Naval and Army assets combine to bring the full might of the Empire upon any foe. Join the 45th Shock Troop Regiment, a special task group organized under the Dominion to be the military arm of the Dominion. Organization, Uniformity, Fire Team/Squad RP. The 45th is now set as one of our most focused branches with a full Fire Team roster and NPC unit formations to compliment!

The Dominion Intelligence Agency is a department of Sith Intelligence focused on being the experts in all things Intel. Espionage, Spying, Sabatage, and Interogation is the art forms of the D.I.A as they work with the other branches of the Dominion. They are also tasked with internal affairs, looking for treason, heresy, and doubt within the ranks. They are the secret police of the Dominion.

Contractors are the hired help of the Dominion, these are Bounty Hunters and Mercenaries who are not fully aligned with the Empire, or Dominion powerbase, but loyal to the money provided. Dominion Intelligence screens our freelance friends and ensures they are well paid for their efforts, along with engaging contracts to help in intelligence gathering, espionage, assassinations, and your typical dead/alive bounties.

The Dominion Court is the central governorship of the Dominion, hosting the Shadow Guard, Slaves, and Civilian populace in a combined structure. Recruiting is done for each three section independently while serving a single branch leader.

 

 

The Shadow Guard is an elite honor guard of the Dominion, tasked with protection of the Dominion Council and the Overlord himself. They are the equal to the Dark Honor Guard of the Sith Empire or the Knights of Zakuul. The Shadow Guard are strict political enforcers, ensuring that any whisper of heresy or treason is snuffed out. They perform executions, assassinations, and personal missions from the council.

 

 

Citizens of the Dominion are those non-comatives who simply wish to live within the Dominion's territory and scope of control. These range from the every day Imperial civilian, to musicians playing entertainment at festivities, or even the lowly slave who is owned by the Dominion. Diplomats who work with other guilds and factions. Scientists who design new weapons of war.

Note: Citizens are taken per application and investigation. Your character must fit the Dominion theme.

 

 

Slavery is a time honored tradition of the Sith Empire, having been practiced by the Sith people since the days of ancient Korriban, it is a culturally embeded practice in our society. The Dominion houses slaves from your typical house slave servant, combative slaves as penal forces or sport, and your common entertainment slave. The Shadow Guard are tasked with instruction, discipline, and etiquette of the slave caste.

Highly Committed Role Play, and Character Development

 

 

We here at Novus Dominion have expierence in GM'ing many events through the years in SWTOR. We base our main RP combat off dice using the in-game dice rolling function /roll. Through the next few months we aim to beta test how in-depth we wish our system to go, as we had an EXTREMELY in-depth RP system back in Shadow Dominion. Right now we are a basic D20 system with HP, and Combat Dye depending on in-guild rank. Dice will help us flesh out and decide conflict throughout the guild from the story, combat, and interactions in the world. (Think D&D style)

 

 

 

PvE (Flashpoints/Operations/Conquest)

 

The guild fully intends to partake in more than just RP in our spare time, we can't be strong individuals in the Empire if we can lose in fights! Thus, we aim to hold guild operation sessions once we have the manpower for them, and aid people in Flashpoints and more. We are also very helpful when it comes to aiding fellow members level up!

 

 

PvP (Open World, Warzones, Starfighter)

 

The guild is also not just one for talks, we intend to fight our way out of situations! Having the best gear is never a priority, but we do occasionally plan to run Warzone groups and team up in Starfighter! We also have experience in Open World PvP conflicts and plan to mix RP in them! We are not opposed to running PvP sub-groups (Elite Forces) within Branches. (NOTE: This is always prior to RP. RP is always the primary focus of the guild. Everything is after)

 

Galactic Conquest Community

 

We here at Novus Dominion along with our friends, allies, and enemies have built a unique player-ran, story driven community known as GALACTIC CONQUEST. This community is founded by Novus Dominion and several other well known RP guilds. This community has one mission: Bring together the greater RP community in cross-faction events and campaigns with lore supported activity through a fair and competitive combative system shared and planned cross-faction.

 

From the Mandalorian Warband Crisis, to the Battle of Salaica new campaigns and stories cross-faction and across multiple factions away alongside the main SWTOR story with fellow guilds and players! Adding an entire outward story that augments the guild story!

Recruitment

 

Recruitment is done in several parts: Application, In-Game Interview, Acceptance, and Character Sheets. The first step to joining the guild either from online or in game is to go to our website: https://novusdominion.enjin.com/ and fill out an application by clicking the Recruitment tab. Once applied, you will be spoken to by an officer, admin, or recruiter who will specify if your application is denied, or accepted. Once accepted, you must meet the officer in game for an interview. The interview is completely IC and is mainly to RP you into the guild. We are a Heavy RP guild before anything, so prepare to show us what you can do. Once you are in the guild, you will be brought into the guild in game, and your application will be approved.

Greetings Star Forge RP Community!

 

What a week it's been! The Dominion is happy and proud to be back here on the server after our long long time away. As you may all know, Shadow Dominion (and by extension Sovereign Dominion) were our pride and joy. The dream me and my friends of the council shared was eternal and even when RL hit us, we had generations of leaders continue that dream. Now, the original team is back and we couldn't be happier doing what we love and that's bringing back amazing content and story! We're completely excited to see where SWTOR is going with its main story, and we're even more excited to see old veterans and friends rejoining the game the same time we are. In the last week 3 old Dominion members have returned to us! And over 8 new friends and loads of applicants!

 

The Dominion plans to focus heavily indoors right now as we gather membership and get back on track game wise. However, we hope to spread our RP fun with the ENTIRE COMMUNITY very soon! If you're a guild Imperial or Republic that ever wants to make some RP with us, or you're just a loner who wants to poke at the Dominion. Feel free to drop a message in our Embassy which should be open to the public! We are seeking allies and enemies a like for RP purposes!

Now here's what we did today with our first main story RP event! Which will happen every weekend (or every other weekend depending on timing and availability!)

 

 

The Novus Dominion has been born! Risen from the ashes of the old order, the Dominion has taken the world of Thila as its own, laying claim to its resources and strategic positioning in the Seat of the Empire. Minimal construction has begun on the new Enclave as the Overlord and Dominion Council made preparations on rebuilding its lost Armies and Fleet. However, before things could properly begin, the Dominion needed to locate a lost leader. Darth Jerrico; Commandant of Dominion Intelligence had been discovered to possibly be alive after many years. Thought dead due to his flagship being destroyed in the Outer Rim, all that remained of the Sith was his cybernetic arm which his brother kept through the years of exile during the fall of the last Dominion. Finding his corpse on Hoth, whispers spoke of the Darth being not quite alive, but not yet dead. Stuck between the living and dead, he was trapped forever blocked from embracing himself in the living force. A plan was made to bring him back, but with the help of Sith Alchemy and Voss Mystics.

 

The Dominion gathered a strike team to move to Voss, recently struck by the Eternal Empire in recent months, the mission was to secretly insert themselves onto the world and head for the Nightmare Lands were the dark side was strongest. There, the strike team led by the Overlord himself could find an old shrine able to focus the energies from the Eternal Empire's bombardment and the Nightmare Lands itself to draw upon the force to utilize Sith Alchemy at its fullest. The ritual was dangerous, causing the deaths of the entire Imperial squad who accompanied the strike team.

 

 

Arriving at the Lake of the Unseen, the Strike Team was able to locate the shrine after defeating Gormak and beasts, avoiding a camp of doomed Voss. Thanks to Darth Cruxx; Warmaster of the Dominion, the Voss Mystics at the shrine were fooled into allowing the Dominion to use the shrine for their purposes unopposed. The Sith Alchemy used involved using Cruxx; Jerrico's brother, as a conduit while sacrificing the weaker Imperials to allow a bridge to be open to the spirit world. Cruxx's bond with Jerrico would allow his soul to be found and brought into his corpse that was brought to Voss with the Strike Team.

 

 

The brother reunited in the spirit world, able to break the chains that kept Jerrico's soul in limbo, he was revived in the material plain within his body. The Dominion was successful, preparing to retreat back to their ship before the Voss or Gormak returned. Before they could, a large abomination, a Dread Vorantikus, corrupted by the dark side of the Nightmare Lands emerged, attempting to slaughter the Strike Team. Upon its defeat, the Dominion forces returned to their world safe and secure, knowing their Commandant was back in the realm of the living, and the Overlord's plans able to move forward....

Novus Dominion is now in our 2nd week and a great deal has been accomplished! Recruitment is up, and allies have been made (or returned)! Volition returns as one of our closest allies, and new guilds like Paragon Covenant are added with agreements made in RP that add to our asset system! Working toward building a more united Empire, Novus Dominion works tirelessly to build up our forces for the coming warfare that is surely to break out against the Republic!

 

This has been a week of external RP, where we as a guild gathered Intelligence on various players, guilds, and organizations throughout the server. Espionage is a large tool for the Dominion, so if you see Novus Dominion personnel sneaking around, PLEASE, RP with us! We're probably not there for your own good!

Novus Dominion recruitment has been going well, right now we are in HIGH DEMAND of Imperial Military personnel! We need soldiers! If you are looking for a story themed guild with community involvement and character progression please join us!

 

We are also in deep need of Shadow Guard, who above all are our guilds vanguard for internal guild affairs, protecting the council, and more. We will be heavily fleshing out the guard here soon with additional lore based on my Sith clan (family) and preparing the trials for them.

Novus Dominion is quickly approaching our first full month as a unified returned guild! We've made great progress and began to promote our first line of officers! We have begun external guild missions that promote community RP. We are literally on the look for other guilds, groups, and individuals to RP with! Have you seen Imperial soldiers marching around brandishing the Dominion's power? Or perhaps you've been stalked by one of our agents? We are rapidly becoming a force in the galaxy and we have no plans of stopping!

 

Recruitment has been going extremely well except for one of our branches! Shadow Guard are in HIGH DEMAND! Shadow Guard the Dominion's response to the Knights of Zakuul and other elite/honor guard forces. A member of the Shadow Guard is a Sith who forsakes their traditional training, or an Imperial who is over zealous, for something much more. You swear pure loyalty to the Dominion council and are almost fanatical about ensuring our power is dominant in the galaxy. Embark on a unique playstyle unlike the traditional Sith, Soldier, or Agent character archetypes.

Novus Dominion expands! Recently announcing their annexation of the Thila system, their iron grip through the help of their allies forms an iron curtain around the world. However, the worlds untapped resources have become a beacon for smugglers and criminal activity seeking a quick easy profit while the Dominion still sets up new security measures. A mysterious group known as the Gordian Devils have struck the heart of the enclave!

 

 

Launching a droid diversion at the enclave bridge, the Pirate gang of former Imperials launched their raid on the council chambers stealing an unknown and powerful artifact from the Overlord; the Infinity Orb. The orb's power being continually studied, it has caused havoc years earlier on Ashas Ree and was kept hidden until now. The traitor Sith, Daemun, had successfully escaped with the orb while many Dominion Sith were wounded. Now the Dominion rushes to shore up its defensive holes and seek the Pirates that dare steal from right under their nose

Novus Dominion continues to rise! Recently completing our FIRST GUILD STORY ARC, we are now beginning more external Role Play with our allies and soon... Our enemies...

 

Just recently, Novus Dominion met in public with our strongest ally; Paragon Covenant.. The Covenant and Dominion share many goals and outlooks on the Empire, Darth Tarasirs and Darth Harbinger have been friends since days long passed. Now as the Dominion continues to build strength, we look to allies such as them to continue building unity and solidarity within the Empire.

 

 

We have come a long way in a short time as continue to expand. Each Branch has devleoped a core cadre of active RPiers that have brought Novus Dominion together. I'd like to take a moment to thank each of them for their continued dedication, experience, and character development that has brought the Dominion to this point where we now begin the next phases of our development.

 

We are now moving to bring external Community Level RP to the server. We are promoting other guilds, factions, and players who wish to bolster RP throughout Star Forge from our own in the Empire to even our rivals in the Republic. We all succeed when great stories and development is made on all sides; and Novus Dominion is here to help promote you!

 

We have begun to work with amazing story tellers to bring the server something truly special in the thrill of warfare. In the coming weeks, I hope everyone begins to take notice of the amazing groups who constantly work to bring alive this galaxy we live in and the continued interactive nature of the story we as players tell alongside the SWTOR narrative.

 

Meanwhile, here's a look at what Novus Dominion just recently did in the conclusion of our Story Arc I: The Dominion Returns!

Weeks pass as Dominion Intelligence attempt to track down the Gordian Devils and their traitor Sith leader turned Pirate Lord; Daemun. Patrols constantly monitoring the surrounding sectors have finally caught up with the scum as a Terminus-class Destroyer brings down the Pirate flagship over the world of Yavin IV.

 

 

Descending upon the world, a team led by Lieutenant Sev'ente'loro and Sergeant Jibbo of the Dominion 45th Expeditionary made up primarily of Shadow Guard race to find the stolen Infinity Orb; an ancient relic of great important to the Overlord. Upon reaching the planet surface, Massassi savages were first dispatched while the team took considerable damage. Surviving the ordeal, they pressed onward engaging M3-B model Battledroids of Mechanist Industry design. The droids appeared too much for the team narrowing them into a funnel point where a firefight broke out.

 

 

The droids were assisted by a rocket launcher impeding approach, but the Dominion had air superiority as a lone fighter pilot rushed in for close air support breaking the droid lines and allowing the assault to continue. Moving deeper into the dark jungle, the droid force was finally defeated when the Dominion reached a small clearing in the jungle. Dark energy could be felt as the air thinned, and a chill covered the environment. Pirate Lord Daemun in his foolishness attempted to tap into the secrets of the Infinity Orb, causing it to go out of control and kill all of his remaining crew members.

 

 

Unleashing a new wave of droids, and then joining the fight himself. The Dominion Team seemed without hope as many in the group began to fall to the superior unnatural power of Daemun augmented by the Orb. It wasn't until brave heroes from the Shadow Guard like Lyshenks and Sith like Se'hura who valiantly sacrificed their well being to make vital blows to the Pirate Lord did their air support gain enough time to bring the final blow in a hellfire of laser cannon blasts. Terribly wounded, Daemun was overwhelmed by a new force of Shadow Guard; the Overlord's Chosen, led by Templar Vinrum Shadows, the Overlord's nephew. The Overlord's Chosen were able to calm the Infinity Orb, removing the augmentations of the now maddened Daemun allowing him to be defeated. Now fully submitting to Dominion power, the team chose for Daemun to be executed for his crimes against the Empire and Dominion. The Pirate Lord's short reign, had come to an end. Now the Infinity Orb returns to the Enclave to be secured in Harbinger's vault, as the next phase of the Dominion's plans can begin as they march toward advancing their goals against the greater galaxy.......

SATURDAY begins our second Story Arc: Invasion of Aeten II, we created an intro video below that begins the invasion as the first chapter kicks off us storming the orbital defense station!

The War for Aeten II is in conjunction with a series of galactic events including the Mandalorian Warband led by Craden Burka'da and other offensives that have yet to become public knowledge. Soon, we will be opening the war up to the community! Allies are welcome to partake in our chapter based events the next few weekends!

We are halfway done with July, meaning we are on the downward spiral toward the end of summer! However, with the new additions to SWTOR coming to the end of the month, we're seeing a vast new revival of public attention to the game that we here in Novus Dominion are happy to see! We've been sure to ride this great momentum in the community by beginning our second Story Arc and joining others in the community by fleshing out stories across multiple factions! Here is Novus Dominion's contribution through the invasion of Aeten II! Two weekends worth of RP!

Chapter 1: The Invasion of Aeten II

 

The war has begun! Dominion forces converge on the low defended world of Aeten II in a blitz attack that has caught the Rift Alliance and Republic off guard! In coordination with the Ministry of War, the attack was extremely successful as a combined fleet of Dominion and Volition ships took orbit within an hour. The only major obstacle being the lone battlestation in orbit which managed to destroy one of our Harrower-class Dreadnaugts 'Adder'. The loss of the ship and crew did not effect ongoing operations, but severely hurt the defensive power of the Dominion.

 

 

The station was first invaded by 4 teams of Dominion forces at multiple points. The team headed for the command station was intercepted initially by 4 defenders, an officer and 3 guards. The team took a bit of flak from these four, but ultimately left mostly unscathed. They then headed for a computer room after seeing a branching path, which gave them a plethora of advantages. For one, they were able to bypass an enemy patrol that was preparing for them to breach one of the doors they had the choice to go through, then they were able to divert forces away from one of the squads taking over the shield systems control room in order to give them a bit of assistance and were able to distract guards on their own path as well, leaving a squadron commander by himself. After quickly dispatching him, the station’s commander was their final obstacle. He was a Veteran of the Republic military for 30 years, and was able to give the dominion forces a tough fight. After he had taken out Private Cortark, Lyshenks of the Shadow Guard, and the Sith Citra, a few members of the squadron were able to knock him off of a balcony, severely throwing off his fighting abilities. During the fight, Arkis’sias was knocked down due to his own error down to the ground near the commander, and Randavo and Se’hura both leaped to the commander to bring the fight to him. After a few hits back and forth, a combined effort from the Dominion forces on the catwalk and the ground in front of the commander was enough to finally bring the commander to his knees, set by Arkis’sias stabbing him through the back, but not before the commander gave one final shot, dealing massive damage to the Sith Randavo.

In the end, the Republic Battlestation was captured by Dominion forces, as the Fleet surrounds the planet and moves to secure the system. The Ground campaign will begin next.

 

Chapter 2: Resistance on Aeten II

 

The ground campaign for Aeten II... Never before has the full might of the Dominion come upon such a low defended world. The entire planet was taken within 48 hours as two continents worth of territory was attacked. One holding the settlements and locations of the planetary government, the other housing the grand majority of Aeten II's mines and facilities to extract the precious crystals that made the world so valued. A mass bombardment of the settlements brought a majority of the resistance to its knees before any real fighting even began.

 

The coordinated assault involved over 3 combat divisions and aerial support by the Ninth Bombard Fleet. The Dominion's finest hit the ground hard slaughtering irregular forces of armed mining workers who formed their own defensive militia. Retrofitting mining droids for combat purposes, they held their ground until the last fell.

 

 

Surprisingly, a Republic All Terrain Anti Vehicle (AT-AV) walker was used as a heavy bulwark to try to slow down the offensive. Injuring many of the Dominion force, the walker proved to be the hardest challenge. However, thanks to the superior might of the Sith and Military in attendance, the walker was destroyed allowing for entry into the main mining facility.

 

 

The majority of civilians surrendered, as militia became overwhelmed. Darth Nightbane allowed civilian families to evacuate, only to go back on his word by killing them in orbit through the naval blockade. He then allowed the remainder of the militia to give up their arms and return to their homes... Only to meet them outside the facility by death squads.... In all, over 500 unarmed militia and civilians were murdered.

 

The remainder of the populace was put in the chains of slavery, forced to return to work the mines alongside now Imperial droids. The only true prisoner being a mysterious Jedi Padawan who aided in the defense. She went willingly and is now being transported to the orbital station above...

Novus Dominion continues to grow, and there are a few things we'd like to share with you! Lately, we've promoted a new roster of Leaders and Officers completely fleshing out the chain of command for all branches. That means besides the Council there is always someone around to help get RP started! We've begun reaching over 10 members a day logging in or more! This is huge achievement for us, making for great opportunities for internal RP.

 

We'd like to announce The Shadow Guard Branch has CLOSED RECRUITMENT at this time we feel we have more than enough guardsmen filling the role of council protectors and executioners. It will again opens its doors once the current membership is properly fleshed out, but for now, our efforts are focused on other branches.

 

The Sith Branch and Intelligence Branch are recruiting the most with room for leadership and opportunities for RPiers looking to grow. Military is also continuing recruitment, but not as much as the above. Fire Teams are still forming and events week to week are coming out!

 

SLAVES AND CONTRACTORS are always welcome as well! We are working on Naval mechanics to open a Naval sub-branch to Military. More TBA.

Novus Dominion here, and we're happy to continue working forward to exciting new possibilities in our RP! First we'd like to announce a string of new happenings in the guild:

 

We've moved! Yes, Novus Dominion now sports a brand new enclave! A fully unlocked Rishi SH to replace our Yavin IV SH! The in-character reasoning for this is that the old Yavin site is to be converted into the Overlord's private estate, while the new site is a beachfront property to be converted into both the new Dominion Sith Academy, and Thila colony. The planet is still very much Thila!

 

More Unlocked Guild Ship!: Thanks to the hard work of many individuals, our guild ship is near completion and fully unlocked! We are getting closer every week now. As we continue to expand the ship, we are working on a new NAVAL SUB-BRANCH for our Military forces. If you're a pilot, crewman, or imperial naval RPier who has been seeking an engaging experience. Stay tuned! Between our flagship and new Rishi carrier, there is plenty of room for crew!

 

New Colosseum Events! The re-openning of the age old Dominion tradition! Since the old days of the Shadow Dominion guild, we have sponsored gladitorial events for sport and honor! Now with Rishi providing an actual arena, we will be holding these events in many different styles! We seek Gladiatorial Slaves who's entire purpose is to endorse this sport while also providing an auxiliary to our main military forces!

Novus Dominion here, and boy are we heading for some good times! The Dominion has just concluded our 2nd Story Arc and latest Campaign; Troska Unrest! As the Dominion moves out of this Story Arc, we head towards a new one that we plan to align with the prepared happenings of SWTOR 5.10! We engage with the on going story of the game with our own, while throwing in a few twists and turns with our allies and adversaries.

 

Speaking of adversaries, we are planning a GUILD V GUILD RP WAR! Talks are already in motion, but RP events will be coming in the near future as our guilds collide. Stay tuned!

 

The guild is also preparing to fully open recruitment for our Naval sub-branch and new Citizen branch! Information for both should be forthcoming by the end of the month, and we're extremely happy with the new content we will be bringing to the community! The Naval Sub-branch will be focusing on Fleet vs Fleet battles with enemy NPC and Player ships in a RTS type system with other guilds who use similar dice roll systems. While our Citizen branch will be giving our social RPiers something to love by opening our Stronghold as a full fledged Imperial Colony. We will be opening the Stronghold to the public at times for market days, random encounters, and the hosting of the DOMINION ARENA! Gladiatorial fighting for honor and glory! Pit yourself or slaves against one another in spectacular fashion! Community events coming SOON!

 

Between all this, we also have a great deal of new promotions and advancements in the guild. A new Sith Overseer, new Imperial Officers, Agents moving up in the world, and a leader of the Shadow Guard! Great happenings and progress for us here in the Dominion!

The Dominion had a multi-layered strategy to claim the forested world of Troska as their own. For the initial intelligence gathering, a team was sent to gather intelligence on the planet's leaders in order to formulate a more effective plan in placing a puppet government in place on the world. Led by Cipher Agent Fourty-Six, the team sneaked around the compound while the agent distracted the planetary nobles holding a gathering nearby. The team successfully gathered information, though they were not able to recover the Cipher. However, this proved to play to the Dominion's advantage, as the information revealed that one of the top rulers of the planet, Zarz Kyber, Prince of Troska, was becoming disenfranchised with the Republic and their lack of support of the planet. After the group extracted, Cipher fourty-six made use of their intelligence training, and secured audience with the prince in order to further the Dominion's goals. She managed to get him to admit to his frustrations, and pointed him in the direction of the Dominion and what they had the power to do for him...

Novus Dominion has had another successful week as we promote new officers, bring forth new RP opportunities for all branches, and finish off Chapter 1 of our Campaign!

Leading the united front to victory were the two brothers of the Dominion Council, Darth Jerrico and Darth Cruxx. A plan was quickly drafted and the fight was made between two separate groups of the primary invasion party. Group Aurek led by Darth Jerrico and Group Besh led by Darth Cruxx. A dramatic dash was made for the capitol building.

 

 

Through the conflict, allies were lost and enemies were defeated. From Civilians, to Local Nature Preservationist, and Neighborhood Watch groups, all would not prevail against the overwhelming might of the Sith Empire. Unfortunately Major Jenkins who was leading the fight against the uprising in the City’s Marketplace, was shot dead before reinforcements could intervene, causing an outrage from Darth Jerrico and Group Aurek.

 

 

Overall the resistance on the streets of the Capital City were wiped out, however the source was still at large. The Dominion continued their march to the Capitol Building where, however along the way they encountered a small Ferroan girl who was seen crying in despair. Accordinging to several disputed reports, her name is Lyla. She was seen crying, as her deceased parents were also seen dead on the ground in front of their destroyed home with blaster holes in both of their chests. She was seen picking up a blaster while tears streamed down her face. She held up her father’s blaster to the approaching Dominion Forces. Her hands shook terribly. Darth Jerrico took the liberty to console the child before she could do any harm to herself or to any Dominion personnel. She was escorted off Ferro by an Imperial shuttle and taken to Thila. As a result, she is potentially a future ally that may assist the Dominion.

 

 

The Dominion continued their march to victory. The Capitol Building was now in sight and guarding the entrance were two defending elite guardsmen who wore traditional armor and clothing while also bearing traditional Ferroan Warblades. Both were masked with intricate gold embroidery however one wore bright white clothing, while the other wore stark black clothing. ‘Light’ and ‘Dark’, Although neither would not speak, ‘Light’ was persuaded to step aside and ‘Dark’ was persuaded to join the Dominion as fellow comrade, potentially serving as a beneficial ally in the future.

 

 

Obstructing Dominion Forces from entering the Capitol Building was a large sealed door, which was successfully blasted open by a talented Sith within the ranks, Prefect Xaraphan. Immediately after, the two Darths stormed the apex of corruption supported by the Dominion’s collective Military, Sith, Contractor, and Intelligence forces. They mercilessly and relentlessly forced their way to the top of the building where the cabinet room was located. Inside the room was the entire cabinet and at the center of the room was the false icon, Governor Farce. They were protected by a rayshield which was quickly disabled by Lord Caesius.

 

 

Dominion Forces entered the chamber. Some bolstered the might of the two Darths while some guarded the entrance, preventing any of the cabinet members from leaving out of fear. With Governor Farce’s back against the wall and against all odds he resulted into dramatic measures by attempting to take his own life and the life of everyone in the chamber by using a large thermal detonator. The Dominion failed to stop him. The Governor killed all of the cabinet members and severely injured many of the Dominion. Ironically he managed to survive his own suicide attempt and was forced to endure a fate much worse than what he had anticipated…

 

 

Darth Jerrico gave the order for all the injured to be treated by medical services as well as the order to have Governor Farce escorted to a well known cliffside within the city. The site itself was known in the past to host public executions. The Dominion ultimately declare victory by the cliffside. Two imperial guardsmen escorted the cripplied governor to the cliffside and place him on his knees. With a show of force from the Sith Empire and the Novus Dominion, Darth Jerrico drove his lightsaber into the back of the governor before kicking off the side of the cliff. As the Ferroan leadership dies and the Imperial banners draped down all officially marked buildings in the capital, fear entered the lives of the many crowds of Ferroans who watched the display. Because of the successful invasion and the mercy shown on the Ferroan girl, Lyla, 'Imperial Day' is an official holiday held annual on Ferro on the day of the Novus Dominion invasion.

 

 

Shortly after the display, a specific Hutt Cartel fleet is seen jumping out of hyperspace into the atmosphere of Ferro. Who is this Hutt, what is he doing on Ferro, and is the Dominion under a new threat?

COMING UP IN THE DOMINION

 

The primary focus of the guild finishing off January into Feburary, is our internal affairs. The guild is working on ensuring that we have the people both officership and basic leaders to help organize the day to day RP necessary for a large guild. We are currently staffing and working on building up our current member base as we bring in new members nearly every other day.

 

SITH:

The Dominion Sith has grown massively, retaining their running title as the most populated and dominant branch of the guild. Several Acolytes are working toward their apprenticeship and graduation from the Thila academy. We congratulate several who have attained masters, and others that have made to Lord. Currently SITH RECRUITMENT IS CLOSED until further notice, so we can train and focus on the current membership! We will reopen once we add new Overseers and others to the ranks.

 

MILITARY:

The 45th Shock Trooper Regiment has added new Privates to their ranks, working weekly with the Sith in training simulations for the war. We now need to organize and structure our troops and looking for future Non Commissioned Officers (NCO) and other positions of authority! Enlist today, and work up to filling out our chain of command!

 

INTEL:

Intel is always looking for the next great agent! We need a wide arrange of agents to fill all roles and work with the Lord Commandant to ensure the flow of information. There is currently an on going story arc for Intel for engaging RP!

 

SHADOW GUARD:

The Shadow Guard is our sacred enforcers and honor guard, training the dark side, ready to devote their lives to the Council, Executor, and Overlord. The Shadow Guard is always looking to increase their numbers, if you are ready to join this zealous cult for a unique experience. Join today!

Today we only have a recruitment bump, as majority of the guild took this last week to relax, RP socially, train in their respective branches, and build their characters.

Civil Affairs as a branch is no more, we have disbanded the branch and reformed a new branch: The Dominion Court!

 

The Dominion Court focuses on the political, social, and family RP that has been in the background of the guild since its beginning, focusing on the story of House Shadows and House Calderon, which are the two major Sith families that include the major leaders of the guild. The Court ensures stability in the powerbase, focusing on the larger structure, and the policy making of the overall dynasty that is the Dominion.

 

Under the Dominion Court; The Shadow Guard, Slaves, and Civilians now are under the control of the Dominion Court as a branch, with the Shadow Guard working much more as an honor guard, slaves as a support role, and civilians filling roles of advisement, and structure.

Today, Novus Dominion continued their ongoing Campaign! Campaign III, with our Chapter 2 story! Hutts and Heresy!

Assembling aboard the Ashas Revenge over the world of Ferro, the Dominion prepared to welcome the emissary from the Hutt fleet. Boombaa the Hutt welcomed the Dominion leaders; Imperator Cruxx and Commandant Jerrico aboard his flagship in an offering of peace to do business. Accepting the offer, the pair took their team aboard the Hutt ship bound for the world of Gigor, a planet in the neighboring sector.

 

 

Danger quickly erupted when the Hutt vessel was thrown out of hyperspace unexpectedly, causing a panic from the Hutts. It was soon discovered that the Gigoran slaves had revolted, and taken command of the ship engine room and other key systems. Battling for survival as a countdown began for self destruct, the Dominion assumed command of the vessel destroying all in their path. It was thanks to combined effort and leadership that the Dominion was able to push to the engine room, and with the help of a protocol droid which was quickly destroyed.

 

 

Finding the Leader of this slave rebellion, the Dominion forces quickly overwhelmed the slaves before the damage could be done saving Boombaa and his vessel. Information in hand through a datapad, it was discovered that Boombaa was betrayed by Big Junta in a powerplay to frame him for the deaths of Imperials. Boombaa claims the Big Junta would never do this, but the Dominion fears they have now entered a small Hutt gang war. However.... Something does not feel right, as the Dominion is ferried home to Thila... A dark shroud looms over the events as the information for the Overlord hangs in the balance...

WHAT IS NEW

 

Novus Dominion has been very busy with our internal affairs, from various smaller Story Arcs, a range of missions and trainings from each branch, and bringing in new members! We have attended allied functions such as a wedding at Paragon Covenant and social with Black Gauntlet, and we've got more planned for the entire community as our Campaign begins to end toward March!

 

The biggest news this week is that SLAVE RECRUITMENT IS NOW CLOSED until further notice. Yup, just like Sith and Shadow Guard applicants, our Slave population has exploded in recent days, and we want to ensure all new slaves get the courtesy and full attention they deserve. We are very happy to have nearly 10 active slaves now in Novus Dominion! The branch will re-open when we're ready to bring in more and the slave caste is more established.

 

In other news, the Dominion has begun establishing Fire Teams and other formations in our Military Branch. We are looking for active full time soldiers to fill these ranks and roles, along with other various RP opportunities. Enlist in the 45th today!

This last week was a very mild week of social events, training, and cooperative RP with friends across multiple guilds! Several branches performed routine tasks and we were able to begin new talks with possible allies and reaffirming old alliances with Imperial guilds.

It's been a few months now since our last advertisement update on what Novus Dominion has been up to. That in part, has been my fault, as RL kicked me personally around for a bit there along with much of the council leading to our secondary officers being amazing and taking up the torch while we settle things up. Now, summer is here, and it's time to get back to business!

 

First and foremost, we have been extremely busy getting our membership into a stable and very active place. We are proud to announce that every single branch now has a council member lead, a second in command, and a team of support Officers and Leaders who are able to support day-to-day guild operations and RP! This has been a HUGE task!

Novus Dominion as a guild has turned 1 year old on May 12th! It's been a massive year with us recovering from our old selves, into this new age of the Novus. The Dominion has never been a better place to make your home for RP.

Novus Dominion back with our weekly update. Today we announce the beginning of our internal guild Campaign starting June 1st titled - The Novitian Blitz, the story will detail our guilds reaction for SWTOR's 'Jedi Under Siege' on Ossus and 'The Dantooine Incursion' coming in a few weeks! All of this in prep for the new Onslaught expansion coming later this year.

 

The huge point I pitch to my officers in Novus Dominion is STORY TELLING. The Novus Dominion experience isn't just a guild RPing randomly on the day to day, it is an augment to your SWTOR experience. Rather then simply walking in the shoes of "The Alliance Commander", I hope that all members of Novus Dominion use our guild as a home to tell their own stories and experiences while the events of the galaxy unfold. That is why, 100%, we follow and align ourselves to the exact update that the game is currently in, and we react and RP with each new SWTOR update and content that lands. I even write and produce content for Novus Dominion in our campaigns that reflect this.

 

Novus Dominion is a strong and large guild. We RP ourselves as a multi-sphere, multi-layered Sith powerbase under the direct authority of the Sphere of Military Offense. The key to our growth, is our capacity for war. Thus, we base much of our RP on warfare and helping lead that effort in the community. The war is back! Novus Dominion is now two events into our 4th Campaign titled The Hydian Blitz. The Campaign tells our story alongside the main story as the frontlines between the Republic and Empire ignite and war is once again fully upon the galaxy. Here is a summary and pics from the two events!

War begins again in the Galactic North!

Heating up as the Battle of Ossus and several engagements begin across the Republic-Imperial borders, the Dominion powerbase has begun its own offensive codenamed: Operation Retribution. The offensive led by the Imperial 34th Assault Fleet led by Admiral Lucius Kaiz and elements of the 1st Dominion Fleet have converged on the planet Seelos in a bid to quickly take the world without the Republic realizing they are under attack. Nearby Telos harbors a large Republic garrison much to large to take on directly.

 

 

Beginning aboard the I.S.S Ashas Revenge, the Dominion forces met to prepare the jump to hyperspace into the Seelos system. Upon entry they were met by a Republic defense force led by three Thranta-class Corvettes that needed to be destroyed. The bridgecrew of the Ashas Revenge were knocked out, and multiple personnel were able to stand up and take their positions successfully destroying the enemy warships. Once orbit was taken, the ground attack could begin.

 

 

The mission was simple, locate the Republic listening station and destroy it via laser desgination for orbital bombardment. The base would need to be destroyed quickly before they could get a signal through the Imperial jamming. Once the Dominion made planetfall, they trecked through the salt desert searching for the base until they came upon a speeder bike patrol. The patrol was consumed by a large native creature, a Joopa, which then attempted to attack the Imperial forces. Luckily, thanks to the mastery of one of our Sith, the Joopa was tamed and allowed the Dominion a path underground directly to the base.

 

Finding the base, the Dominion forces were able to laser target their objective only after destroying a shield generator and an E-95 Light Tank. The tank was destroyed thanks to the combined effort of Sith and Military might. The base destroyed and a Joopa tamed, the Dominion secured Seelos able to have a staging area to move onto the Hydian Way and perform the next phase of the operation...

Beginning back on Seelos, the Dominion party secure their foothold in the mostly Republic monitored Kwymar sector. A new day begun on the salt planet when a transmission comes in on a public wide range frequency.

 

“This is General Yamasuraka, Commander of Task Force Aegis. Yes Imperials, we are fully aware of your little attack on our outpost. You’ll be happy to know a fleet of the Republic’s finest are on their way. I will give you this one chance to return back to your sector before anymore blood is spilled. We wouldn’t want a repeat of Salacia, too much blood spilled in a short time. However, should you refuse. Know that we will not rest until we push you back all the way to Dromund Kaas if necessary. Yama out.”

 

 

Suddendly artillery rained down upon the Dominion base of Outpost Grey, Republic Firebrand MLRS poised for an attack with Republic Infantrymen stormed as the party was forced to repel the attackers. A long fight began, leaving many wounded and the outpost destroyed. They were thus recalled back to the Ashas Revenege where Sergeant Jibbo Katana of the 45th Shock Trooper Regiment met them. Informing the party, the Dominion force had moved to the nearby planet of Krios tracking the Republic Fleet that had jumped and then left the system.

 

 

Arriving on Krios, the world was a hidden Republic Fortress. A space battle began between the 34th Assault Fleet and the Republic defenders, led by Admiral Kaiz. The Republic held a strong fight digging deep into the world as the Empire invaded. The Dominion force would need to drop directly into the battlefield to secure allied forces and reinforce the battle lines.

 

Defeating a Republic tank and walker, and numerous platoons of Republic Soldiers, the Dominion would rescue Major Elrund and his company allowing the Imperial force to dig in and prepare for the long siege. The war had come full swing, and it was time to fight!

Novus Dominion back with another great report on our status as a guild! Today I am happy to announce to all those who have been patiently waiting Sith Recruitment is now REOPEN!. We will be accepting new Acolytes to our now fully functional Academy! The Ashas Ree Academy, once known as the first Dominion Enclave, has been rebuilt and now features a fully dedicated, functioning, and state of the art facilities for Sith development!

 

The Dominion Sith Branch with it's reopening and the opening of our new Academy has also undergone some changes. The Sith is our largest and most dedicated branch, as such, the Branch requires more officers, more leaders, and more organization than all of our other branches combined! Thus, we are happy to announce that the Sith Branch now has not 1, but 3 seats on the Dominion Council and divided into 3 major sub-branches for the overall Sith!

Alongside the Academy Master is a Headmaster, and a team of Overseers who's only purpose is NEW SITH! The Magisterium: Led by council member; Grand Magister; Darth Khyros, is the master of all Sith sorcery, magics, alchemy, and the mystic arts. It is his job and duty to ensure the ancient knowledge of the Sith is maintained, and that a new generation of Sith seeking to delve into the realm of archeology, force mastery, and other arcane Sith talents are adhered to. He is joined by a the Spectres, a dedicated group of Sith Assassins. The Reliquary, the scholars and deep thinkers. Lastly, the Archons, powerful sorcerers and wielders of the force. Once graduating the Academy, if you wish to excel in the less frontline aspects of Sith life, the Magisterium is a home for you!

 

The Legion: Led by council member; Legatus; Darth Aspirus, is the head of the Dominion Legion. It is the Legion's duty to field, and control Sith looking to join the war effort. Working directly alongside the Dominion Imperator whom leads our Military Branch, the Legion is the Sith arm of our overall combative military might. Masters of martial combat with the force and blade, Legionaries are focused on the war instead of deep learning. The Legatus is supported by a team of leader Centurions and Tribunes who ensure Sith are paired and teaming up with Imperial Military forces.

Lastly, we would like to show you what fun the Dominion has wrapped up this month. We have finished this month's Campaign! Campaign IV: The Hydian Blitz!

 

 

 

A week passes on Krios as battles raged on, over 10,000 dead, as the No-Man's-Land now known as The Fields of Veradu erupted constantly with artillery barrages. Arriving at the Imperial Outpost on planet the Dominion force gathered under the leadership of General Quintus Vaximus to prepare for the coming battle.

 

Informed in a briefing there were two objectives: First, securing and defending the I.S.S Opposition, a wrecked Terminus-class Destroyer that was in pieces, but still maintained working Turbolasers. The 56th Engineer Battalion was there preparing to bring them online. Second, was the search and rescue of Imperial personnel and supplies with an Imperial HASV.

 

 

Successfully defending the Terminus allowed the turbolasers to destroy Republic AA and Artillery batteries. It was this break that allowed reinforcements to arrive on planet from orbit.

 

 

Successfully rescuing the troops from the downed transports allowed for the attacking force to grow and destroy incoming Republic forces.

 

 

Arriving in the center of the battlefield, the Dominion forces along with the combined might of the 1st Dominion Marines and 45th Shock Trooper Regiment were able to fight off the Task Force Aegis' Jedi forces from the Yu Enclave. The battle was fierce, but the Jedi were eventually defeated leaving a fallen Jedi Master captured, and a Consular dead. Now the Dominion prepares for the final assault to break the Republic line...

 

 

 

 

 

The War for Krios has finally come to its end as the Imperial forces led by the Dominion put all their cards on the table prepared for a massive final push! Led by Executor Nightbane, with a full contingent of Shadow Guard, Legionaries, the Imperial 3rd Sector Army, and 45th Shock Trooper Regiment all eyes point to the Republic bastion before them.

 

 

Republic fortifications began to light up in defiance as troops rallied, a full last blitz against the lines as the Dominion marched up the ridge line destroying bunkers and artillery guns allowing for armor and orbital support to engage.

The Republic was overwhelmed, a mass of Imperial crushing down on the last bits of resistance as soldiers and Jedi fell with no retreat acceptable. Death hung across the Republic lines once the Empire passed that hill, moving into their own trenches and killing all before them. Entering a tunnel locating the shield generator, Engineers were slaughtered allowing the shields to come down beginning a series of air strikes that spelt the end.

 

 

General Bayl and Jedi Master Weyfa stood with their Commando forces as the last defense while all Republic forces began to evacuate the planet. A hard fought battle ensued, but the Empire proved their long month of struggle had finally come full circle. The General and Master fell, as their fortress of Krios came crumbling down around them. The Republic was defeated, and Krios was now firmly in Imperial hands...

They are zealots, cultists, fiercely loyal with a passion to serve. They are more than Sith, they are Guardsmen.

The War for the Maldrood Sector:

A massive Guild vs Guild RP war took place throughout July into August taking up most of our time. Fighting erupting across the world of Centares and New Holstice between the Dominion, our allies, and the Republic enemy guilds.

Recovery and Rewards:

At the end of the months of war, the Dominion has taken time to recouperate ourselves and begin a time of training. Awards were given to those who fought bravely in the War for Maldrood, and we even began a new event series in prep of the game's expansion.

Overlord's Trial

The Overlord suffered a sickness from a Rakatan disease known as the Sith Blight, a genetic attack against the Sith species. Lasting several weeks, it took the combined effort of the Dominion to discover the truth of the Blight and find the solution through an ancient Rakatan device on Thila.

Standing by the Rakatan device, an ancient enemy arises that must be defeated to save the Overlord.

Novus Dominion has entered the 6.0 Onslaught Expansion! The Third Galactic War is upon us, and with it, a new era of the Dominion's effort to bring about change in the galaxy. A dark secret has been revealed unto the Overlord, and the combined forces of the Dominion powerbase mobilize for a new offensive in a march to the Galactic Core!

 

We have spent the last month in October preparing for this expansion, and now that we've played its contents, we have begun to write our new Guild Campaign! Campaign V: Dark Crusade shall begin by the end of this month! Join the Dominion on our attack against the Galactic Republic!

 

An Important policy change is in effect for Novus Dominion regarding 6.0! Spoliers if you read it, but we have taken a stance against EA/BioWare and their choice to divide continuity based on player choice. Overlord's Day!

On October 19th we celebrated the Overlords (my RL birthday) with a social RP event and celebration involving Discord Voice karaoke! A Dice Roll tournament where we declared Lord Xi'ana of the Oblivion Legion as Grand Champion! New NPCs were introduced, and good times were had!

 

Legion Dra Story Arc

The Oblivion Legion, our martial arm of the Sith Branch conducted a month long RP Story Arc involving 5 chapter in-game events, continued Discord RP throughout the week, and multiple side quests involving the entire guild! A huge thank you to the Legion leadership!

 

The Academy grows
