Finrok
Does it help to reverse engineer several peices in a row all at once? Or if you reverse engineered them like 1 piece every 30 minutes... Does it make a difference either way on success rate to achieve the upgraded recipe?

Does it make a difference either way on success rate to achieve the upgraded recipe? I would say that is extremly unlikely to matter, though reverse engineering stacks might. DarthDemens
Nope. As far as I can tell, nothing improves your chances of learning on a RE. Stacks give the illusion of helping, but only because you get a chance for every item in the stack. You've got the same odds of learning it by REing 5 individually as a stack of 5. coldcite
I would dare to say it's completely random. It's human nature trying to discern patterns when dealing with random events.

DarthDemens
This is a fairly hard thing to test... so what is that based on? personal experience. It's not a very scientific method, but I still think I'm right.
GnatB
I find it *very* unlikely that how you reverse engineer things matters, because: 1. Any such thing would have to be explicitely added to the code. 2. There is no real reason for the developers to do that, unless adding an Easte Egg for themselves, as it's unlikely anybody else would ever notice. That being said, I have noticed a rather surprising frequency of back to back RE successes, so it's always possible the RNG for RE is separate and streaky.
