Like I said, I have stopped gaining any exp while crafting in artifice. I am at 77 points. I have used up most of my low level crystals. Do I need to just collect higher level stuff, or is it a glitch?

You have to train higher level schematics at the crew skill trainer. Then make higher level items.

Yea the next level schematics are acquirable at 80 points...I need 3 more pts!?

Skillups do not occur if you are crafting grey-skill items.

 

On the crafting UI there is a little light that indicated skill level requirement: if you are too far an item this light will go grey, you then need to craft an item that is not grey to keep skilling up.

Ok makes sense. But how do I find the materials for some of the schematics to get 3 more points? I am on Nar Shadaa and can't seem to find any thing that I haven't already used up.

Crew missions? Next plot world?

In your crafting window, make sure you sort your schematics by level. Then craft the highest level one. They should max out at even numbers like 60, 80, 100 etc so its weird that it stopped at 77.

 

There will be at least 1 schematic that you can increase from. Maybe go to the trainer and purchase the highest "level" schematic and craft that one.

 

You will get the materials from it with your gathering skill. But its possible your gathering skill will not give you those level missions yet if its not high enough. You may need to level it or just buy the mats from galactic trade.
