Was wondering if this is our last chance to get double rewards for things like requisition in GSF, extra Valor in PVP, or level up characters quicker (which is very much welcome for longtime vets) before the expansion?

 

Took advantage of the event over the weekend, but wasn't able to play much during the past week due to real life stuff.

Typically double xp corresponds with a game update.

 

Since the current version on the PTS is 6.0 that is the next expected update for the game. Meaning the next double xp event will be sometime in September possibly October, as they run the double xp event 1 week after the update now.

 

There is an off chance they they enable double xp prior to that, but most likely you will be waiting until September.

6.0 comes in september. I think it will come at least 2x before.

Every now and again, SW Battlefront 2 runs a TRIPLE XP weekend. I think SWTOR should work this in for a rare event like once every 6 months for a weekend. Just an extra special little thing.

One would hope that they would give us a consolation double XP event at the end of this month to make up for this last one being unplayable for many people.

 

Wether they will or not is another question. But it would certainly help their image and instill some good will with players who have had trouble this last week.
