Hi!

I'm mostly a healer in every mmo I have played but decided to try a melee dps class with the ability to leap/jump to my targets. If possible i'd like to tank as well.

Since I dont know much about melee dps classes I turn to you all for help.

Both acs for jedi knight and sith warrior, and shield tech powertechs and vanguards.

Shadows/assassins have force speed which can work in a similar manner, as well as force pull.

Vanguards and powertechs have Grappling hook as a pull.

Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior have Force Leap and Force Charge respectively, you learn the move very early on. (starting planet), and they both have tank advanced classes (guardian and juggernaut). The other tank classes, trooper-> vanguard and bounty hunter-> power tech have grapple, which pulls your target.

But in your case you should do Knight or Warrior
