Force charge (when appropriate) -> Deadly saber while in air -> Battering assault -> Rupture -> Annihilate

That's that basic opening..can change depending on situation etc etc

By the way, what's the AoE "rotation"?

press the smash button, press the whatever cleave is called in swtor until you can use smash again oh and do a battering assault for rage

or do it like me, stay back and laugh as the classes that actually have decent aoe get aggro and die ^^

Actually it's better to do Annihilate before Rupture for 2 reasons

1. You get to have 3 annihilator stacks faster

2. (assuming you've skilled Empowerment which you pretty much have to when going anni) Opening rotation isn't reliant on Empowerment proc since Annihilate refunds 1 rage and you can Rupture without a need for rng proc.

tl;dr Charge > Saber when in the air > Battering Assault > Annihilate > Rupture > continue with priority

That depends on the player. If you Annihilation before you Rupture, then you have to wait for the cd on Rupture to end before reapplying. Annihilation is a DoT spec and the point of using Rupture before Annihilate is to get the cd on Rupture refreshed so you can instantly reapply the DoT when it falls off, maximising your uptime, and pressure. If you Annihilate before you Rupture, and your DoT is cleansed then you're just farting about in your opponents face until your cooldowns are ready again.

It's stickied, and pretty much every bit of theory I've read backs what this dude says. (Apart from the surge/crit argument, which seems to be individual choice). Rupture >Anni > (ragebuild) > Vicious Slash basically guarantees Rupture will be off cd by next rotation

Why are you linking a post that is obsolete? Please don't post links pre 2.0.
