I cannot find a key to eject from the skytrooper. This is from Chapter VIII: End Times- "Press Eject." I have read the quest over a few times in hopes it would tell what key to use or a slight clue.

 

Can someone help out here?

Should be a button right above your tool bar that you have to click with your mouse.

There should be an ability in the ability bar to allow you to eject from it

It's a walker you got to eject from, you got a second ot two. it will automatically be added to a temporary ability bar at the end, on the right most side, think it is button 7 or 8.

No. There is no hotkey button, no temporary ability, nothing on or near any toolbar. have clicked EVERYTHING on the screen. nothing ejects me from walker

Try hitting ctrl-u twice to reload your ui.

 

Open your interface editor and make sure the temporary ability bar is active.

 

See what happens if you go to your sh and come back.

 

Restart the chapter.

 

After that I'm not sure what you could try...

Unless the walker is severely damaged you can not eject from it. You must complete the walker mission, then you will be released from it and not before. Sorry but you are stuck in it till then. You can exit the instance and that will kick you out of it but when you return you will have to find another one to complete Chapter VIII.

 

Below is how you finish this part of the mission or you can continue to explore and complete the walker part of the mission on your own.

 

 

I had the same problem and I found the solution ...

 

If the ability doesn't pop up as intended, go to the ability window under the General tab is the ability "Eject" with which you can leave the walker.
