I'm running BoI in story and it's not letting me imp agent run it unless I pick it up as a veteran. This may not be the place to properly put this, but hey.

Check your mission log. Maybe you already have the Story mode in your log so it will only let you select Veteran mode.

Open your log and check you have no missions for BoI

Then talk to the droid and get the story mode mission

Hey guys, I'm having pretty much the same problem with the Flashpoint: Battle of Ilum...

 

The droid outside of the FP keeps auto-granting me [Veteran] mode. I've tried abandoning the mission, abandoning ALL missions, reseting the mission, reseting the phase, leaving the planet, logging out, but nothing seems to work. Every time I talk to the droid it keeps auto-granting [Veteran] and won't even give me the option to pick [solo]. Any suggestions?

What level is your char? In order to do it on sm you need to be at or above the apropriate level. For BoI it's probably lvl 50 (ish).

I'm lvl 49. I figured it wouldn't grant me the mission at all if I was under-leveled, but I'll get myself to 50/51 and try again.
