For newbies to 50, is Campaign effectively the same as BH or is Campaign the same as Hazmat ?

and does anyone know changes to gear with levels 51 to 55 being introduced ?

 

would this be the order, now and in the near future ?

 

Tionese > Columni > Rakata > BH > Campaign > Hazmat > Dread Guard ?

Tier 1.1 = Tionese (126 Rated)

T1.1 Equivalents = Xenotech, Energized and Dalarian (126 Rated)

 

Tier 1.2 = Columi (136 Rated)

T1.2 Equivalents = Exotech and Exo (136 Rated)

 

Tier 1.3 = Rakata (140 Rated)

 

Tier 2 = Campaign (146 Rated)

T2 Equivalents = Black Hole MK-1/MK-2/MK-3 (146 Rated)

 

Tier 3 = Dread Guard (150 Rated)

T2 Equivalents = Hazmat MK-1/MK-2/MK-3 (150 Rated)

 

All the gears above are for lvl 50, as Bioware have written, Dread Guard should be enough until you reach lvl 54 - 55, at that point it will be better if you use the new gear that you can buy from the different vendors at fleet (or from loot I guess).

Well Makebs planet comm vendor isn't even worth wiping your *** with (has rakata grade pieces) but looking over crafting didn't see the level required for it but pushing the magic button on the PTS you get a recipe for 28 barrels. (Basic cooms gear is 29s and arakian is 30s)

Look at that from the perspective of a new player fresh 50. Being able to buy rakata grade gear from a planet comm vendor is pretty good when you consider that the best planet comm vendor now is sub-tionese.
