If you expect a game to be solid on every level then you have no place in an early release,
or the first few months of any MMO for that matter.

Riight, because the entire game stands or falls on whether or not the freakin auction house
is perfect from day -5 (notice it's a negative number)

Don't you think there are about a few hundreds of things that are more important than
the auction house at this point?

Hey don't get me wrong, I do enjoy SW:TOR VERY MUCH.

But with all the testing that SW:TOR has been thru, I am just suprised that the AH is at the level it is now.

No reason to get all defensive... jezze

Maybe if you can't take some criticism to ToR you shouldn't be playing! :P

Tonight I had some Shadowsilk I wanted to put up in the GTN but when I looked under “Underworld Trading” there was nothing there.

So I posed 1 pc of Shaowsilk and it would still find nothing under underworld trading!
I tried many other categories and NOTHING.

I then read this post….

And learned that you had to search under diplomacy to find shadowsilk!!!

Dude, take a Valium... go smoke something... the AH is there, it's basic, and useable....give the devs time to make it pretty, and add stuff..... as a WoW vet, I can tell you, their AH was mess also......

when you start posting in such an aggressive manner, ofc the answer will end up being defensive

Speaks the truth. The WoW Auction House was pretty bad at first, as it seem with any Newly implemented Auction House in an MMO for some reason. I personally have not used the GTN (Not much of an auctioneer kind of person) but all I can say is give it time, I am sure it will mold into what the vast majority expects it to be.
