It was easier to me to get yolo tier 1 on my republic toon than on my empire ones. You have more control over who'll problably be your temmates, and that way know when to queue or not. Now, when it comes to 4's I don't think it's any more relevant (yes, I know the best teams left are on the empire, my point is you won't be submitted to baddies RNG anyway since you pick your teammates).
