Frankly, like I said to the first gentlemen who raised that particular point in this thread, such statements are hardly productive.
I thought I wasnthe first gentleman but w/e.

Yes we completely disagree. I see it now.

I apologize if I upset you with my social commentary. But seeing as I am apart of said generation maybe I have a first hand knowledge of the people I am dealing with? Either way, I was participating in the conversation which is the point of a forum.

But what do I know, maybe the people you know are incredibly different than the people I know. I can't speak from them. We all can only speak from our perspective which is what I did. Which I thought was what we were suppose to do. I guess according to you I'm wrong

+1

I like the voice acting, although sometimes i do end up cringing at soem of the conversations which is no big deal. also there are a lot of different NPC personalities out there. So far every one of them is different

Spacebar Hero is what me and my friends say when we spacebar stuff. On that note, however i rarely spacebar anything even on alts.

For me, the VO's lose their appeal after I have seen them.

For example, two classes share a lot of the same side content on their starting worlds. So i watch it with my trooper, but spacebar it when I replay them with my Smuggler.

To me, this indicates the finite appeal of story, for customers like me.

Oh man I hate coca cola , it's so disgusting it ruined everything but I sure love pepsi it's the best!

I do hope you can laugh a bit about this, WOW doesn't do a lot of new things it just does what all other hot key mmo's .
The only thing WOW has been ahead with was the character responsiveness and pve encounter design.
There's a big difference between "being" WoW and being "inspired" by WoW.

ToR hasn't done things to ruin the game like WoW has. Not to mention, ToR actually has a good story and all that. WoW doesn't.

Advice for life from an Adam Sandler movie. That's funny.
Yeah, I can explain it to you, I just can't understand it for you.

He never claimed that it would be a good advice.

And there are many who thank it for everything it has added to the genre. WoW did a lot of things right. Will there ever be a 13 million paid subscriber MMO again? probably not. Is it WoW's fault that other MMO developers rush their content, release poorly made bug fests and then after the hype for it dies down the game dies with it? no.

WoW has in fact brought a LOT of new blood into the genre Millions of people who would have never played an MMO before have now played WoW gotten bored of it and moved on to other games.

How has WoW ruined the MMO genre? By creating a well made successful game showing that people don't have to put up with poor product? That is like saying the fruit vendor who only sells fresh fruit has ruined the market for all the rotten apples. It's kind of a good thing.

If I'd no other purpose for the space bar than to skip dilogue that key would be gathering dust. Loving the story and the voice actors so far have done quality work, I'm not skipping any of it.
