I completely agree (with the 10-49 bolstered and 50 brackets). I'm just very tired of hearing that there is no imbalance and it's all about skill and teamwork, or lack thereof. Just not true.

I have no doubts the game was released before it was ready to capitalize on the holiday season rush. It was clearly evident in beta.
Well if you dont like the questing thats your problem first off, plenty of us have no problem with it. With the comment regarding my standards, your not looking at this game as a whole properly is what i think. SWTOR was ment to combine story [ Original Kotor] and MMO. It's doing that, very well. You stating this as if you expected SWTOR to be a game like WAR. Swtor will never be a WAR type game, WAR was ment for pvp as the content clearly showed, so swtors pvp experience will obviously be inferior, but that doesn't mean people wont enjoy it. You can't expect something that most assume wouldnt be present at launch, but I think in order to gain a more hardcore pvp crowd than its current, bioware should implement more pvp elements. To summarize, the pvp in swtor may not be "good", but its fun. WoW's pvp system is the most boring system, same **** ques like others, but lets face it people who played WoW had fun with it, same concept present in swtor, your just expecting too much right now from the wrong game.

The most common hate "Warzones are horrible and repetitive, NO world pvp, Ilum is broke can all be blamed directly upon the player.

1. If you think the warzones are horrible, or imbalanced Its simply because you yourself are not a skilled enough player to contribute to your team, or your team is not skilled enough to play an objective based game properly. The bolster system makes the winner of these warzones come down to TEAMWORK and SKILL. The only advantage another team can have is if they are all 50 premade with expertise gear, but no one has complained about that yet, just pugs, and most pugs have a balanced amount of 50's on each team.

2. If you strongly believe there is no pvp on a pvp server, your wrong, and just " Not putting yourself out there" to do some [ will explain more at end of post]

3. Ilum can be done in a way to get the rewards without touching a player of the other faction, this is done because at the time most of the people on your server who are 50 have no desire to lead a strike against the republic, and are probably hardcore raiders. Once more pvpers become 50 leaders will come about and people will start to realize that " Hey, we dont want them getting their rewards AND its fun killing them".

On the topic of world pvp, at the moment there is no motivation to do it outside of Ilum except for pure fun, and enjoyment. If your truely interested in it, and not just rewards then you would put some effort in to get what you want. Find people of your faction that share that interest that are on the same planet as you, and form a warband to go kill everything you find, who knows maybe you'll encounter resistance and it will escalate. Or find A guild that organizes pvp events throughout the world

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGvWaSWVE6Q

That was on Launch day, so when people say world pvp isnt possible....they're just wrong, and like many of them " not putting themselves out for it."

SWTOR gives players all the tools they need to have fun with the pvp, but what the people on your server make of it is up to them.

Lol this has turned into a trollfest. I see kids talking about how much they hate this game and its not "premium MMO" yet they take time to cry on forums. Since level 10 i've been having a good impact in the warzones. If noone is leading your team then lead. and NO they won't listen 100% of the time, make a clan if you're going to QQ about horrible teams. They need a smiley with the troll face

Define fanboy. If you hate when people enjoy the game so much, and have nothing positive or constructive to post about it on its own forums, then why are you probably still subscribed to the game?

What if you're a level 50 on a pvp server who ends up usually slaughtering low levels in WZs because of the massive imbalance and don't like pvp because you want an actual challenge, like a lvl 50 only bracket? And no I wouldn't mind waiting. Queues are damn near instant on my server, and usually there's at least 2 lvl 50s on both teams about now. I'd love waiting 5+ minutes for all lvl 50+ games.

Then there's also the disdain of Illum open world pvp where we're all encouraged to group-hug and work together to achieve our goals of daily and weekly mission objectives. If you kill a member of the opposing faction it just slows down both sides and even your own side will hate you. Broken to the extreme.

I just think people expected WAR's level of pvp or something from a game that wasn't ment to offer it at launch. From the start bioware's goal was story and player choice in an MMO space, I think they did a great job with that. These people who are crying about the pvp had plenty of time to figure out what this game was about so until bioware caters to their needs there's no point in the QQ.

1. Its a guild.
2. Those who you call "kids" also include me, SWTOR is not a premium MMO, while it has the AAA tag stuck to its ***, it really doesn't live up to it. The systems of the game are lack lustre and the developers have screwed up both PvE and PvP in different ways. Does this mean I dislike starwars? No! Does this mean I will quit?! Hell no! I will wait until it is fixed however I will make my displeasure well known through every avenue I can. I have emailed Stephen Reid multiple times now with quite a few harsh words explaining my displeasure and with respect to the guy he has replied thanking me for the criticism. Developer arrogance has caused these systems to be as shoddy as they are, also helped by the corporate idiots pushing to launch.

You really do need to look more in-depth before you paste everyone with the same brush.

Then maybe they should have made people aware, especially during PAX when they displayed Ilum. The pvp was hyped up so much with gabe saying about 200v100s etc... I am yet to see a 5v5 on Ilum.

Some one never work retail or anything rmotely close to Customer Service before.

"The Customer is always right" was a phrase createrd as a joke by the Honeymooners/I love Lucy to prove points of a loud, whiny giant cry baby that never got their way and resort to pointing at a sign that said "The Customer is always right" so the manager would have to break down and lower himself to their level and give whatever item was wanted to them, and have to do it all over again.

For obvious reasons, no company that deals with customers actually has this sign, most will have "We have the right to refuse service" because it is their right, and EA, BW and LF is allowing you to play their game, they don;t have to left anyone actually play it if they so choose to, you agreed to it in the ToA and ToS.

SO no the customer is never right; the customer will resieve the best customer server availaible to them depending on their attitude and complaint.
