Without doubt!
It's no different from WoW. Most people are happy and playing the game, the same bunch of haters and trolls flood the forums constantly and are a very, very vocal minority.

Ingame, I hear nothing but how amazing the game is. On the forums, it's a bunch of vitriol and BS. It's like I'm playing SWTOR, but still on the WoW general board.

I think it will be, with niche players. I'm honestly looking forward to GW2, from the looks of it, it's epic, and an open world.

I mean how could you NOT LOVE THAT! The graphics, the smooth combat, and dynamic playstyle is what I'm looking for.

And may I add: and create QQ threads constantly.

This is a QQ thread. I think the QQ-babies should go to Pandaland. Now.

Hello all,

We've had to remove several posts in the thread and just wanted to post a reminder to keep your posts on topic, constructive and respectful when participating in the thread.

Thank you!

Well, as long as the million players who really enjoy the game keep on playing instead of
going on the forums to get bummed out by yet another doomsayer who has too much time on his hands,
I'm sure it will be remembered, played, looked forward towards and expanded.

That being said, what the beep am I doing here, I should be playing!!!

I agree.

Now to address other people in this thread.

as an example...

If you decide to open a business with a cool new idea that will compete with an established business. Lets use car manufacturing as an example. Try as you might, you can't put together the Gazillion Dollars that you need to have the same manufacturing power and experience that Ford has built up over a period of a hundred years. Is that even a reasonable expectation??

My goodness!! Give it time. They just opened up. They already said they have ideas for new content and are working on fixing problems.

No company is going to have the ability to fall into a new MMO game and from the start be able to compete with a succesful game with years of develpment and improvements. Even if Blizzard created a new MMO, it would not start off being as good as WOW is right now.

Your expectations are not too high, but the expectation that it will happen right away is not reasonable.

this game meets the expectations of the silent masses that make or break new games - the casual crowd seeking for ENTERTAINMENT instead of geargrind raidfest progression fixation.

http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=108420

considering the success of kotor 1/2, mass effect 1/2, dragon age 1/2, there is no way in hell that this game will not entirely satisfy the biggest segment in gaming market. the immense number of subscription increase post launch confirms that.

it may not meet expectations of raidfest geargrinders. but then again, not only they are a tiny demographic in gaming market, but they also grow tired of repetition after a while. something that you can see voiced even in posts in wow's own official forum. (big heresy there).

Oh look, another thread about predicting the future of the game. There's something you never see.
