Particle Effects Slider

I'd really like to see a particle effects slider, that you can slide up to show max particle effects from characters and each time you bring it down it removes a particle effect (spell animation/colors etc) from another character. Like ideally for a raid I'd like to only be able to see MY particle effects or just maybe 5-6 people. I really don't need to see the entire operations spells mainly because it makes the game incredibly laggy. I have to turn my graphics down all the way to help with it, even though the particle effects is the reason for the lag, so it doesn't help that much (I normally run my game on ultra settings). I searched for a way to do this and I can see that people have been begging for this to be an option for years. Please give us this. It would improve the gameplay for so many people. I see it mentioned in general chat often, as well.
