Marrying my Companion and what happening to our flirts?

What did you guys do? I got to the point where my character proposed and boom, all the flirting stops and no marriage. I really want to see the rest of this storyline play out. For the adults, I want the wedding and the honeymoon goodies. What gives?! I haven't stopped flirting with my wife, why should my toon and companion. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

Only character that actually gets a wedding is female jedi knight marrying Doc during class chapter. And please no nonsense about the rest happens off camera. No, it doesn't. Characters just pretend they are married. Doc also doesn't take no for answer, sent my jedi knight gifts after they broke up. And she's with Lord Scourge now.

Doesn't flirting usually stop when you get married? Or is that after kids and you suddenly realize flirting led to kids?

I've suggested this before but I think what they should do is make several repeatable missions that can be picked up from Odessen or your ship's mission terminal and have them rotate like the missions on Iokath (perhaps one mission per week rotating from among a pool of 10 missions). These missions could be completely without dialog, or they could recycle dialog, and have these missions let you do something with your love interest. You two could stand on the bridge that leads out to the player ship on Odessen, gaze off into the wilds and share a kiss. You two could meet in the bar on the fleet to have a drink and share some small talk. Just little cutscenes in various locations that would allow you to spend time with your LI. These would go a long way to keeping the romance in the forefront and visible rather than something that seems to have been forgotten.
