Ignore list legacy wide

Hi,
I see this forum the only option for a in game feedback. So I will make it look like a suggestion.

It's clearly that customer service is useless and incompetent and that's not going to change so I ask politely to give us a form of protection against those who make the game look like a troll convention.

For that I think a unique ignore list for all my legacy would be a huge help AND the targeted ignore to be also apply to legacy. I know a legacy ignore will create some problems as some players prefer to have no legacy set because is more to lose if they do so but overall this will improve a bit the "social" aspect of the game. Will also solve the problem with the robots advertising the RMT in starting planets.

So, is it possible to gave one single ignore list accessible by all my characters in legacy where I can ignore a player's legacy when they make racist or sexual or other kind of offensive comments in general chat?

Depending on this will happen or not stays the decision on coming back as subscriber. To be more precise I won't ever go to a restaurant where the owners don't care abut the customers who come inside to make a fart concert (it's about what happens right now on general chat on Dromund Kaas and recently Coruscant)

There are some not-theoretical concerns about a feature to ignore a whole legacy being abusable by stalkers(1), so "ignore his whole legacy" probably won't happen. Ignoring by my whole legacy is primarily of value against trolls rather than against goldsellers, since goldseller spambots generally don't last long before they get squelched and abandoned.

(1) The stalker finds that his target has ignored him again from character "bob", but thinks that this character "bill" sounds kinda the same, so he whole-legacy-ignores "bob" to see if "bill" disappears from /who and chat. He now knows whether he can stalk that *player* on "bill" as well as "bob".

It's been asked for loads of times, pops up every couple of months. As steve pointed out, I don't imagine they'll do it, but they probably could do what steve suggested, and others in the varies thread, that if you ignore 'bob', then bob becomes ignored on all your chars. Less chance of stalker abuse, but you'll won't have to see bob on any of your char, and you don't have to switch to each char, just so you can add him, to each ignore list.

As for saying you are going to quit, because they won't listen to you. It's a waste of time, they won't even hear you close the door. The servers went from hundereds to 5, and they never blinked, people left in droves over kotfe + and they didn't care. As long as they keep bringing out the expansions, people will keep coming back, and that's where they seem to be aiming for, not keeping a mass general population, but bringing in a migrating population that comes and goes.
