Include the in-universe year into story mission descriptions

Something that players - in particular roleplayers - struggle with, is how the timeline of the game's most recent story updates looks like. Based on conversations and hints we have, most players put the events of Onslaught at 24 ATC (After the Treaty of Coruscant) but there are a few who insist it's still 23 ATC or another date entirely. The confusion arises from players having to guess the date based on approximations.

That's why my suggestion would be to include the in-universe year in story mission descriptions, codex entries or heck, why not the title when the next story update is launched. For example, when we start Jedi Under Siege and the title of the "chapter" fades in on the bottom of the screen, it could have a little line of text below saying what year it is, like "24 After the Treaty of Coruscant". It would clarify a lot of the confusion surrounding what in-universe year it is.

Would genuinely accept a higher subscription fee every month for something like this. Easily done and would be so helpful to Roleplayers and those keen on the story details.

sorry but no, the sub shouldn't be touched, especially not just to have a timestamp on what's happening.
It would be helpful, should be included, but we shouldn't be charged extra for it
You know you can't fix an idiot, turns out you can't quarantine them either!!!

For me, raising the subscription fee for *this* feature alone would be an *absolute* NO, especially if it was a mandatory increase. If it's an option ("pay more for definite dates in mission logs") then I'd skip the option.

That said, it's the sort of thing they wouldn't charge extra for anyway. And yes, it would be nice to have a more definite timeline in an MMORPG, just for once. The only absolute timeline information we have in-game is "you slept in carbonite for five years".

To go to Belsavis, you must go to Belsavis.
I never had a Fine Mithril Sword of a very powerful glorious invincible hero scout with ruby inlays and platinum engraving in June language

I don't think the poster was serious in their comment of the sub fees, it's more to show how badly they want it

Well, there are other hints like Kira and Scourge's "we were in a coma for more than a year" and Chozo Rabaat's conversations where he says how long he was MIA. That gives a few rough estimates, but difficult to make anything other than an approximation. Adding a single line underneath chapter titles when then fade in onto the screen or in mission descriptions shouldn't be too much effort though.

SI claims to have been missing Ashara for 6 years. But there's a problem with that. For 5 he was frozen in carbonite so he should not say that because for him it should only seem like 1. She is the one had to live out 6 years without him/her.

Even if he was in carbonite and might not have experienced it as six year, it's still six years that has passed. And it definitely sounds a lot more romantic, that he loves Ashara so much that even in carbonite it felt like an eternity without her... *sob*

Exactly. We don't have much clarity regarding the timeline and while it is not a huge, game-breaking issue, it helps to enjoy the story a lot more if you know roughly how much time is passing with each update.

Besides, it would also be nice to know how much our characters are aging xD
