If u put it this way the discussion could have been much shorter. You could have just googled the stuff and not call me untrustworthy. The problems of todays people is that they are just too focused on the media, experts etc. The sentence from MiB keeps on poping into my head for this. 1500 years ago everybody knew earth is the center of the universe! People have been burned if they claimed otherwise. 500 years ago everybody knew the earth was flat. Now you are the as the people back then. You just cannot comprehend any other idea. Well, suit yourself, be a sheep and dont have an opinion of your own. Do not believe anything else than what is on the news and what the WHO or whomever tells you.

I am not an anti-waxer, my kids got the basic stuff, but nothing ever since cause its not needed. My brother on the otherhand has 2 kids and those didnt get anything. I advised him against but thise are his kids and he got doctors that do not report him as its mandatory here. There are vaccines and “vaccines”. Just go to the alergy clinic in your hospital and ask for bio/mineral vaccines which are applied to alergic people. Thise exist and do not have all the ingrediants. So google it.

As for the rest my opinion still stands and since i do not need to privide sources, since u can google it, i say that the virus is harmless, it kills weak immunity people and those suffering with other diseases. There are other much more deadly viruses that kill much more people. Heck, more 10x more people die of hunger. The media just over did it with this virus thats all. It wouldnt even spread if people just would have kept simple hygiene standards, but people thought they were immortal so its their stupidity. Our country is proof it can be done. Bigger countries could have done same but people just dont care, they wanted to go shopping skiing etc, its their problem. They clap the doctors and medical staff but in our country they are sent on vacation as there is nothing to do and other operations are stopped. Much more die due to postponed operations and treatments. So all this is just silly and only proves how powerful the media is. People killing over toilet paper and in our country we have full stock of everything. I didnt wait in any que.

So google it.

That reminds me of some of the tests that happened (I believe they still might be happening) in a Saturday late afternoon/early night Brazilian TV show on Globo (kind of like our CNN or whatever public channel is the most watched) where there were these wacky trials to go through, I forgot the name but youtube apparently has some footage of it. Not sure how that hasn't been taken down for copyright but I guess Globo either doesn't know or doesn't care.

That looks rather painful.

See, no offense Merojec, but this is the kind of thinking that leads to people burning 5G mats. If you won't listen to the actual experts on their respective fields, who will you listen to?

What's funny is that Aristarchus of Samos, c. 300 BCE, who proposed one of the first known heliocentric models placing the Earth in orbit around the Sun, and Eratosthenes of Cyrene, c. 100 BCE, who was the first to calculate the circumference of the Earth, both lived and died long before Mero's claimed time frame for geocentrism and a flat Earth being popularly held notions ('cause they weren't). Interesting that ancient Greeks prove Mero wrong and my forum name is ceryx, the literal translation of which is ancient Greek for herald.

Thats exactly the point. As you see i didnt say whom to listen to, all I said is that you should be openminded. If you are not then you will never be free. All you need to do is just to think about it. Right now you see theories like chemtrails, fake moon landing etc. and you automatically say its conspiracy theories. Did you ever at least think about the possibility that there could be something about it? Thats I all I am saying. I am nit saying the world is flat etc just saying that you need to consider all the options and not just dismiss them as rubbish.

You do habe your common sence, everybody has it. You also have intuition where you feel when something is wrong. You get this feeling when you do something that is just not right and if you dont then yes, there is something wrong with you do to the environment where you were raised. When a person is born he is pure, good. If he is bad later on its only due to the way he was raised by his parents or how the environment behaved towards him. So everyone has this in him that he is able to judge right from wrong.

It was meant to be a quote from a movie mate, but yeah, if u got nothing else just catch me by the word. Also history itself is a mystery as all those dates and events are mere guesses. Look at trojan war which was interpreted from a novel. Even now they found out that homosapiens came several thousands years earlier to europe. What will they find out in 50 years? That we are not from apes? You need to realize whats at stake here.

Still u missed the point. So 10000 years BC they knew all this? No they lived in a lie. Couldnt that be same now?

Repeatedly ignores empirical data, even claims it's meaningless, discredits experts in fields because it doesn't align with their message, refuses to even turn to an alleged local expert opinion, but relies on movie science and history. Irony implodes under the crushing depth. David Dunning and Justin Kruger boggle at such a case study. The dolphins don't even thank us for the fish. And the mice decide the experiment is over. Where's my towel?

The flat earthers and antivaxxers use very similar arguments strangely.

And Mero, the difference between Ceryxp's writing and yours is that, because his is presented as objective and accepted facts, I did in fact Google them for more depth.

You on the other hand, use arguments involving personal opinion with no basis in fact.

You jumped on my chickenpox thing, but let me further elaborate - because I had the chickenpox as a kid, I can now develop shingles later. If I'd gotten a shot, to my understanding at least, I wouldn't have to worry about that complication.

You also ignored my point about eliminating smallpox and lessening the measles/polio/etc.

And finally, I agree, the improvement in hygiene has been significant since the days of say, the black death that ravaged Europe. That doesn't lessen the significance of vaccines.

I can't go into the same level of detail as ceryxp because my speciality is airplanes, not public health. I do, however, respect someone capable of making a rational, objective argument.
