Why there is no additional quest for Kira Carsen as there is for Nadia Grell.
Are you doing this on a Jedi Knight (Guardian or Sentinel) or a Jedi Consular (Sage or Shadow).

The fact that you are able to hook up with Nadia Grell, who is in absolutely *no* way "some random chick", says that you are on a Consular. Romances (to start or restart) with returned companions have only ever been open to characters who had them during the basic class story.

okay. I see what you mean here. I've started this character in 2015 and left the game for like 3 years or so. It seems indeed like Nadia Grell was my companion in the story chapter. If so, it looks like Kira Carsen is someone new for my character, meaning that perhaps in the next expansion we'll have new romancing options with her? who knows

Probably not. Read her "Interactions" section in the "N" Companions and Contacts panel.

In addition, they have never yet opened up companions from other classes for romance post-KotFE. The closest so far is that we can all (except male agents who didn't romance her, and all female Agents) [Flirt] with Kaliyo, but the only one who can actually make a romance with her at that point is a male Agent who romanced her before.

that's a satisfying answer. thanks. Now I can only complain that BIOWARE made us to choose between Lana and Kira. It was hearbreaking to turn her down. How could they?
