I really agree with this post. It's a game, and in that context it was not created with events that happen to be similar to real life events in jest or to troll people years later when something occurs that resembles game content.

What about all the plague movies and virus movies? Should they all be removed and destroyed because they are about pandemics similar to what we have now?

I believe I am sensitive to those affected by the virus and take it very seriously, more seriously than many of the people I am closest to. I have elderly family members I worry about more than anything else, I am not worried about myself. Because of this concern I am being extremely careful and I have only gone out a few times in a month for very necessary items.

With all this being said, I can't find the Rak Ghoul event as inappropriate, sorry, I just can't. My brain simply can't connect real life with this game in any way at all.

The scary thing about the covid-19 crisis is that you can literally see its effects and I am not talking specifically about the quarantine effects. I can't tell you how many times I have seen an ambulance pull up somewhere in my neighbourhood and brave men and women in full protective suits exist and take away someone. It really leaves an impression on you, especially since some of the people that have been taken away don't seem to be coming back anymore.

My thoughts go out to all and everyone affected by this virus and I am sorry for the losses people experience as a result of the disease. I wish you all good health and sincerely hope all of you will stay safe.

And this is exactly one part of the problem.

Whats different in this case is the media, they make this virus so severe that its really crazy to watch. People need to realize that there are much more terrible things out there. Everyday children die of hunger in thousands, people die on the common flu, hear attacks, HIV etc. What makes this virus different is the media and the live coverage.

People die due to many causes and now its all attributed to the covid-19. People need to realize this, they need to realize that the world is overreacting. Already many info has surfaced that the virus has been seen in 2019 and even in EU. I will not be surprised if we already experienced this virus and didnt even know about it.

Just curious, do you have links providing proof of all this?

That's brilliant, probably one of the better video's i've seen. Very informative, will be looking closely for more. At last now I have a professional I can believe in, as long as he can finally get the 'i' in the right place....

Let me know when you play we can group sometime if times aligned.
I got back into the game a little. Pvp isn’t doing it for me in its current state

I have my case of Corona Beer and the Limes are ready to go for my “Corona revenge”. I’m just trying to get my breath back and some extra energy before I start. (I’m warming up with some Kirin and Kozel beer first ).

LoL, us Aussies are experts at taking the piss out of a bad situation and ourselves Or those who “tout” themselves as experts.

On a serious note,
We have it better than most down here. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world at the moment.
But we aren’t out of the woods yet and there are some real dumb arses on our TV at the moment arguing it’s ok to “let” part of the population die for the good of the economy. It’s not surprising these people are all young and theoretical economists working in academia and not in the real world.

Hopefully the people in power are ignoring them. But these fools are starting to make people question if it’s okay to sacrifice some of us so they can have more money when this is over. It makes me sick that it’s the rich pushing this agenda through certain media.

And let’s not forget that new information is developing daily around this pandemic. Recent reports (which the WHO are now investigating) are showing people becoming reinfected with the virus after recovering from it. So there is a possibility that herd mentality or theory won’t work in this circumstance as many of these economists are pushing for.

On top of that, there are now 3 distinct strains of the virus and they have been able to track its mutations around the world. Research is still going on beyond identifying the different strains.
ie,
Are some more virulent than others?
Are some more resistant or susceptible to certain environments (Temps / humidity)?
Are some more deadly?
Are some treatments / medications have good out comes with one strain and bad with others?

There are many studies and avenues of research going beyond vaccine and medications. It’s early days and anyone that says they have it fully figured out is ill informed.

Lastly, viruses (including this one) continue to mutate, which means a vaccine will need to be developed before we can get a handle on this and it’s also possible it will need to be redeveloped on a yearly basis like we do for influenza. This virus maybe be a seasonal thing from now on. But we don’t know.
The next 6-12 months will give the scientific community a better idea of the best course of action. Let’s just hope the governments and people of the world listen to them more than worrying about how they will make their next million-billion-trillion dollars off the backs of those they consider disposable or acceptable losses.

When things get too tense, Aussie culture usually finds a way to let’s some air out so we don’t blow a value

Seriously, people like you are why this crisis is getting out of hand. You really need to stop spreading misinformation this way, because you provide absolutely no proof to any of your claims and just ask me to take your word on it. It's absolutely absurd and I sincerely hope you'll change your attitude in the coming days, albeit I am not holding my breath.

And yes, I have put tremendous effort into putting this as politely as I can. I don't like to receive warnings.
