Why is there no female romancing?

Why is there no female "romance" via quests or whatever for female characters? The female characters should have the same chances to "flirt" or do whatever the male characters have and although my characters is almost level 30 i've not had one single chance to do so. I hear other male players "romancing" and flirting with all sorts of npcs and i'm irritated that they feel the need to work it out for males but not for females.. That is my rant, thanks for reading! Feel free to nerd rage or be a jerk, I will only ignore you. Actual useful replies is what i'm looking for. THX!

I know I made one awhile back, and encountered many of them.

Haven't seen as many flirt options for female(only have a consular), but I think there was 1 flirt line in coru and maybe 1 on Taris. Havent gotten that character further.

Males do have more flirt options, but part of the issue is which class you have for which sex. And for some reason there are more female npc's needing help than males, probably due to them being the weaker sex. =p

If you mean flirt with random quest npcs then my (female) chars have been able to do this...the flirts are just dialogue and go nowhere - you don't get to run off to the back room with them or anything =)

I made a female Imperial Agent back in Beta and flirted my way out of at least three sticky situations. What side are you playing? Republic? Empire?

I've only seen a flirt dialogue option once, as a level 30 sith inquisitor, in the main story. What really bothered me was that it was with a male NPC. Why would I want my character to flirt with a guy???

This reminded me of how in Ep 4 through 6 there were essentially only 2 women in the entire series oh and 1 black guy excluding the guy who did Darth Vader's voice.

that is pretty bad on bioware's part. if i remember correct, wasn't there also some issues with the romance option for female characters on mass effect? is it really that hard to put some proper romances in the game for females?

Should probably look at the games writers. Willing to bet a vast majority are men. Straight men more than likely. Which may account to fewer female flirts and the lack of SGRA.

Piffle. In Dragon Age you can have a foursome between your character (either gender), Leliana, Zevram, and some woman you met in a tavern.
