This is the same complaint on every single mmo. Either the US or EU gets kind of shafted in the maintenance thing. It happens deal with it.

EQ2 always updated their US and EU servers at different times to avoid all of this mess. So, with that model, you would still have a server to play on when you come home from work. Therefore, you should be on this bandwagon as well

They could do it like Blizzard does and take the servers down for 24 hours. Then everybody would be equally pissed off.
