I am now level 400 artifice. When I talk to the trainer, I cannot buy any mods, which start at level 240??? What am I missing?

BTW, this has been going on for several days now.

Someone said it's a bug and you're not supposed to even see mods. You don't get mods. Only enhancements. Dont know if it's true or not.

Cybertech gets mods. Some stuff is level restricted also although that doesn't sound like your problem.

Same issue. Bumping in hopes of an official response. I assume they shouldnt be listed on the trainer bc they are for another skill.

We aren't supposed to be able to RE or craft those. The slottable upgrade we can do is "enhancement".

The mods are from an "old build" and is reserved for cyber tech. It's silly to not be able to make mods via artifice tho imo. "The ability to customize and mod your lightsaber" comes to mind when remembering the description of artifice.

Is there any way that this can be settled? Either removed so that it isn't taunting me or so that we can actually use it since it is an essential modification for the lightsaber.

And you can. Enhancements, hilts, and crystals all customize and mod your lightsaber.

Nobody gets to create *all* the modification slots for any item. It's the way the system is designed, to require interdependency and trade between crafters.

Indeed. Artifice is already REALLY good for Sith/Jedi because it handles 3/4 slots in their weapons, and the remaining one is dirt cheap to cover with commendations.

Similarly, Cybertech is REALLY good for anyone, because it makes mods, and also covers 2/3 slots in armors.
