I'll try make a little guide.

This is how my GPU looks idle

Please note that after launching Kombustor core clock and shader clock jump up to 600Mhz and 1250Mhz

After clicking GPU BURN-IN on Kombustor GPU goes under heavy load.

Please note that GPU load jump up to 98% and GPU temperature starts rizing. From Afterburner you can adjust Memory clock buy dragging slider lower and GPU clock, doing same. Also if you have desktop you can adjust fan speed buy dragging it up and providing better cooling to video card. As you can see, I can't adjust fan speed because I have a laptop.
First thing to do, if you can, increase fan speed. Apply and save under 1 of 4 numbers you see on the bottom.
Second, drag down memory clock from number what you see -20 (decrease 20Mhz), same, apply and save under same number you saved fan speed.
Run Kombustor, see what's happening, do you get error message or not. If Open GL driver crashes and recovers, you will get message (don't remember exact message any more).
Try reduce memory clock up to 50Mhz from initial number (it also decreases overall video card performance).
If that does not help, leave memory clock in to reduced and reduce GPU clock up to 50Mhz (also reduces overall video card performance).
If still crashes then probably thermal paste needs to be replaced, due it's been drayed out buy the time.
Other thing is, your ATI card is on very requirement edge. I have a over clocked GF9600M GT and I'm getting on Corusant something around 20FPS, game is still playable but bit jumpy.
You will get with your card more lag as I'm getting.

I've been having this issue and have tried every possible solution possible to get this fixed, and called tech support like 10 times. If you aren't able to fix it then it's most likely the ports required to play the game are closed. If you look in your logs and get this error "201112300235 ERROR JSON.stringify resp: {"status":-1,"body":""}
201112300235 ERROR Ping status for 'preprodlaunchapp01.bwa.biowareonline.int: -1" then it's having trouble connecting to the servers due to your firewall, or as I mentioned earlier the ports aren't open. I unfortunately, am not able to open the ports not even my internet provider was able to open the ports so I spent 90$ for nothing. I suggest you call your internet provider and see if you can open the ports required to play the game.
