Unused NPCs - Who would you like to see in a future expansion?

All of the characters and companions I actually like in the game have a kill option either through class story, planet arc or flashpoint (or the kotfe/kotet/iokath line) so unlikely to ever come back again even for a cameo

Aric, Aric, Aric and more Aric.

Basically any of the existing romance comps who are always ignored.

Why keep adding new when they cant even give current romances screen time?! Why keep ignoring the fact so many keep having the complaint of their LIs being ignored while they add new ones just to ignore them later also.

I dont want to adventure with another potential new LI. All my toons have LIs i want to adventure with them, i want story with them, missions and quests with them. Enough adventuring with unlnowns already.

Someone said in another topic there will be more romance with Arcann & Lana in 6.0. That should make everyone happy

ITA. As much as I'd like to see more F/F representation among the romances, I'd much rather that they spend the time tending to the existing romances and giving all of those - both class story and KOTFE-era companions - far more attention and screen time.

Giving us new romances that are just going to be yanked away when they decide to brick those characters - that doesn't work for me at all.

They can do this by allowing us girls to romance chars like Kira and while the VA is in doing *those* lines they could also do m/f lines.

Same with chars like vector, torian, Aric etc for m/m and do f/m lines at the same time.

Any Romance players old and new start in the class stories is *Doomed. The Companions that were written many times better, countless more hours work into (Dev and Player), The companions written/ created for us to like by the real Bioware class writers are all Doomed; not Doomed for any real, substantial or tangible reasons but Doomed to be Replaced by the more cliché, internet trendy and far less enjoyable replacements of

1 Lana, Lana, Lana with a cardboard stale personality (if so many diverse player types are gonna like one character then she cant have much feeling too much in any one direction *Except an unnatural and somewhat awkward, creepy "Insta Attachment/ Infatuation" to the player. and...
2 Arcann, The biggest war Criminal in the galaxy second only to the Emperor (hey, that's his daddy) that he *Also tried to kill (But couldn't so he got you to do it) and now reduced to a silent welp surrounded by a galaxy that wants his head except for ....."His Mother is watching". ((he still never has *Apologized, and "I regret" is Not an Apology to anybody))

After over 250,000 lines of dialog, Bioware's caliber of writing, telling stories and in the current state of SWTOR this is what the games Companions are reduced to, the Real Comps/L.I.'s are all *Wall Flowers collecting dust and two figures that have so many issues they could give any Psychologist a career of listening (Not really) to and taking notes.

I think that's probably where they are leaning, and there are a few I'd love to see a romance with (Kira!),and of course I will encourage any and all LGBT+ inclusion, but TBH in a lot of ways I feel like it's too little too late. Having a class companion show up and suddenly say, "I think I love you!" and then never be seen again isn't anything near having a full out romance that has been written and allowed to develop over time like the class story and KOTFE romances.

And they're class-specific companions mostly, so people will still lose out.

It could happen if they stopped sending us on quests and adventures with random unknowns and let our LIs go and be involved in the story as I said originally. How deep relationships form and remain, rather then forming then forgetting.

Not if they did it with all existing class comps as well as keeping Theron, Lana, Koth etc instead of adding more romances that will just go no where later too.

They could take time to redevelop romances and chars, most had been apart for 6+ yrs a lot can happen in that time. They need to dedicate adventuring and story around existing. Tired of random npcs i dont care about.

I do agree with you on these points. I don't need to run every bit of content with my PC's love interest, but I do want to see a return to the focus on companions that we had in the class stories. I want those companion conversations, and emails, and quests, and comments from them. I want that for the class companions and the KOTFE ones, too.

I would much rather have that than have a new cast that I don't know or care about.

If they wanted to do real romance arcs with the class story companions that really explore where those relationships are now - either opposite gender or SGR - that would be great. And of course I'd want that for the KOTFE companions too, especially since my ladies all romance Lana.
