Everyone giving the op **** needs to chill. The healing in this game IS under powered if 1 dps can kill a healer without using a stun or interrupt.. that is just bad mechanics. A lot of the problem is heals don't even go off half the time, If you are spamming your button to heal the animations can't keep up with the heals.

Also bolster must be broken because my heal spells hit for roughly 500 a spell more when i was level 14 then now at level 40.

I do say healing is still fun in this game, and I am having a blast but I am sure hardcore pvpers like the op and myself will leave this game immediately when a better balanced pvp game comes out like gw2.

It's broken that your stats get boosted higher to make up for the lack of skills and talents?

This isn't wow, where healing is stupidly OP and you can spam 1 heal and be unkillable by less than 3 players. Healing won't allow you to steamroll the enemy team in TOR, you still need teamwork. Tanks need to protect healers or they will die.

The Trauma debuff could stand to be reduced by 5%, maybe even 10%.

Healers can't stand there and tank a dps like they can in WoW.

Learn to be mobile, you actually have to buy yourself space to heal in this game. In wow all you had to do was juke an interrupt and you were good to heal for the next 10 seconds, doesn't work like that here.

That said, it wouldn't be a bad idea to add an "oh sh--" button for healers to survive against unexpected lolburst.

Guard, AoE taunt. All of a sudden you're taking 66.7% less damage, Suprise!

I'm hardly bad or a beginner (2700 exp Resto Druid), but I can't even begin to describe how awful PvP healing is in this game. I won't even get into the raid frames and totally unresponsive targeting system. Right now my Operative is 44 so I have all my abilities and it's still crap. Every single random DPS baddie can easily knock off 30-50% of my health in a global so it's impossible to keep up and then you just get interrupted/cc'ed to hell. Juking the interrupt? Good luck figuring that out!

It's not a positioning issue. It's not a l2p issue either.

It's just not fun being completely helpless without serious peels and even then healing is totally underwhelming.
I play an Op also. and having the same experience. Damage output is way too high compared to healing ability. Putting your talent points into the healing tree means you should be able to keep your companions alive. putting your talents in any dps spec means you can kill any healer in this game (as of now). You dont need much skill, just use a stun, and interrupt their healing.

I would like to read that development is making healing stronger or nerfing damage. I am all for it being difficult to heal; but this is not fun. You dont have t compare it to wow to understand that putting your talent points into healing spec is useless (as of now). Putting them into healing means you should have good survivability... maybe even able to escape from a dangerous situation now and then. #waitingpatientlyforchanges

Lol, tanks need to protect the healer? thats impossible. A tank cant keep a dps from attacking you, they can do a couple peels (a cc, or stun, or guard) but they arent keeping making that much of a difference. You also are stating that you MUST have another person baby sitting you to be adequate. Thats a problems in itself. People need to stop acting like healing is Not broken here. There is definitely a problem.

People want to know that their choice of being a healer was viable. In a 2v2 situation if both attackers are dps there is hardly any chance a Opt healer will survive if focused. It doesnt matter what your partner does to help. Your own capabilities do not keep you up long enough. In wow, you say a healer can spam one heal and stay up? thats untrue. If a player has extremely high resil. versus some garbage dps yeah. But if you get a very geared pvper versus a geared healer, the healer can still be taken down. It is then about skill. What most people are saying is this game involves no skill with dps. You can spam "Whatever attacks you want, in whatever order you want as long as you click your interrupt as the healer cast, and the healer is gone."
