New content is what will bring people back to the game. Not mergers. People are walking away because there's nothing for them to do.

I don't think there's any reason for players to be inconvenienced again, and possibly lose more strongholds and names, to accommodate GF pops. I'm not in favor of any mergers and think that having two NA servers is better.

You don't speak for me OP. Another merge would be a disservice to me.

Think past group-finder pops. Even with the population falling below the post-merger highs, there is still noticeable lag on the more popular planets (like Tatooine) and problems completing pve content because too many people are going for the same resources.

It's not a lack of players that makes the pops slow, it's the lack of any reason to do group content. The rewards are small, the content is old, and in some cases the community is unwelcoming to new players so of course new players won't become regular users of the queue's.

Merging will do nothing for the group finder pops, and will only inconvenience everyone else.

Don't ask for mergers - ask for more content

Where's the facepalm emote? That's about the only response the OP deserves.

There is no need for more merges if they would simply make all queues cross server. It takes a little dev time, not much really and is much easier and much less disruptive than a full merge.

I wouldn't judge server health based on how the ranked PvP queue pops in particular. People don't play ranked PvP because of the toxicity of the community there, not due to a lack of server population. Why would anyone want to sign up for a bunch of PvP arenas where the whole time you'll get yelled at, insulted, threatened, and told to kill yourself if you're not 100% perfect from the start? No thanks. You can't blame server depopulation for people not wanting to touch ranked PvP with a 50 foot pole.

As for the other queues, as previous posters have stated, there's only so many times you can play through the same flashpoints and operations before you are just bored of them. I'm still a subscriber, but I rarely queue for anything anymore. Most of the content in this game is 4-6 years old. I've done it hundreds of times. I don't have interest in repeating it forever.
