Hey, that's a good tip!

I have pets out when I'm leveling: a different pet for each char, and occasionally a different pet to mark pre and post KotFE. So I'd get a lot of use out of having two at once.

I think they'd be used more if they were a toggled passive that stays on wherever you go, because if you switch planets or something you usually have to press the button for it again.

As you have probably figured out by all the counter arguments, there are a lot of us that do in fact pull out those pets, but as mentioned by Tahana, we rarely pull them out in crowded places or in flashpoints/operations, etc. Different pets add to the personality of different characters. This particular droid will go perfectly with my one character who likes to have red trim on everything because she is a BH named Redd Wing.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the only way to get two out at same time is to select your first one, then use the Random Pet. Rinse and repeat until you get the combo you want.

There are a few - not a lot.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

What was it you were saying about assumptions a day ago? You're awful quick to assume that just because you don't do something, you belong to the majority who doesn't do it. They wouldn't have ten zillion pets on the market if people used them, as you claim, mostly to exploit a bug in SHs [which no longer exists, I was unaware of, and wouldn't have cared if I had known].

Holy petty gripes, Batman!

With that said, I do wish they'd update the event pets to use the collections system so they could stop sending them to us incessantly, or baring that to allow us to delete those messages with their attachments attached.

It takes a few hours, tops, to make a new minipet - longer if it's a totally new model, but even then it's artist time, not writer, zone designer, or encounter designer time. There is no world in which making a minipet every year is preventing them from making story content.

Naw this red & white is the best looking one yet. I could care less about the crappy blue & white and Gold & white droids. I want this red & white one with that infrared eye.

I like the little droids, so I am happy. Would I prefer a new companion character or free tuning component with subscription? Yes.

Decorations. That would be only kind of free gift I have interest of. I'm drowning in armour, mounts and pets which I just delete when I make a new character. I have always need for plants.
