In my head, he didn't hate the outlander just his father who happened to be in the outlanders head. It wasn't about the outlander it was about his father. So yeah the conversation had me a little confused.

Exactly - I mean in the final battle with him he does say that it was never personal, only because of his father. And at the beginning when you met him on his flagship and you and Marr are his prisoners I did get the impression he was rather impressed or at least there was a kind of connection? Maybe I am seeing too much into it.

Well - first of all his father in the outlanders head for sure, and then maybe all the time the Outlander manages to escape him and to disrupt his plans might have an effect on him too?

If I recall his ship recovered records on the player from the wreckages, maybe he was fascinated by what he read about the Player?

I always got the feeling that he was rather impressed by my JK and rather friendly to her, well until Valko poped in her head that is.
He's clearly impressed by what he read about her on Marr's records, and he even told her that they may have a lot more in common than just being powerfull in the Force.
So I think that Arcann's hatred towards the Outlander was mostly due to his father being in there, and Outlander always getting away from him.

I find it amusing that this time last year people wanted no more companion deaths, and now some of the same people are demanding them because they couldn't kill the companion they wanted to... ugh

Good news, today my Agent will meet Arcann for the first time . While my SW still waits for Theron's next story minutes.
