While I'm for nearly anything at this that would get them to invest more in SWTOR, I just don't see it happening as a result of Anthem doing well. Most likely EA would use that as an excuse to shoot for more material like Anthem.

I was a great fan of Bioware in former times (Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale etc.) and I bought all this games. But I will never buy any game published by EA because of their fail with Star Wars. I still supporting Star Wars but never ever I will buy anything from E$.

I am saying that because opposed to general public i liked Inquisition. The decision to buy the next instalment I made right after Inquisition final DLC. Its the last franchise left from old BW. But with the mentioned fiasco, not only I will not buy any future games, but it will PROBABLY affect my relationship with the DA franchise.

I didn't buy SWBF2 and I am a hardcore SW fan. Enough said.

I have no problem at all boycotting game companies that I feel screw over their customers.

I love BW's games (especially their Pre-EA games). But if EA is going to abandon a nearly quarter of a billion dollar investment, then I have no problem at all abandoning any support for their future.

I'm sure there will be other things to occupy my leisure time. Things less stressful than fretting over the future of a game that still has so much potential if it were in the right hands.

If Anthem is a financial success, the only place the money generated from it will go is shareholder pockets and Anthem 2.

So for everyone who wont spend a dime on Anthem such as myself, they aren't exactly expecting us to.
This may be the case but I wonder if they expected us to still sink money into the company in other ways like say the next dragon age game, or mass effect game if they ever make another of it.

I know I wont be. I'm done and once swtor is done (the last ea im still spending $$ on currently). After the way they have ditched this game of late and ditched andromeda dlc I no longer trust them at all. Theyve already ditched what work had been done on the next dragon age game and put it back on the drawining board to be started over.

I cant speak for others of course but before they dropped andromeda for anthem i used to support many other EA games like SW: Galaxy of Heros and also games like the sims. After Andromeda got ditched I ditched everything EA except for SWTOR. You cant screw over customers and expect them to continue supporting you. Hubvy and I both stopped purchasing anything in GoH, we now play it completely f2p.
I stopped buying the sims expansion packs.
I wont be buying the next dragon age or mass effect games should they see the light of day.
its not just anthem i am not going to support - I no longer support ANYTHING EA other then SWTOR, it was their chance to redeem themselves to me and they have failed to do so. Once I choose to stop supporting SWTOR EA is done for me entirely.

Same from me, no money for Anthem as I did not buy ME:A either (long time first day Bioware game buyer since Baldur's Gate I, first time I waited for reviews, seems like I was right not to jump into ME:A), I will keep subbing to SWTOR until it's shut down, if for nothing else, the stories that are still there to play. When it's gone, I disappear for EA financially.
I'm sure Beamdog, Obsidian and inExile (and any other developer that still produces single player focused RPGs) will welcome the extra money I will have freed up and the extra time I will have to play their games.
Your lack of intelligence is insulting (SCORPIO).

Probably true, but BW having a success under its belt may keep the lights on, whereas if it flops then EA's pretty likely to shutter the whole studio at this point, with SWTOR getting canned along with it.

SWTOR in maintenance mode (which it isn't quite to the point of, yet) is still better than SWTOR being sunset (sunsetted?).
